waited an hour for our food to come. very inconsistent service. poor waiter working alone on a busy saturday night. ordered and waited for our rice but was told that they are sold out for the night AFTER waiting 40 mins. food is also very expensive compared to other korean restaurants but the taste and amount you get is less than subpar.

Great place, service and food overall. For people who cannot handle hot spicy even at level 1, I do not recommend to choose big share dishes cause it's not possible for them to remove chillies when I asked the waiter. On their menu, most of their plates are spicy but there are alternative ones that I may miss. If you really cannot eat or are not into spicy food, go to a different place. For spicy lovers, it's a great deal with a great palette of choices. In conclusion, I do highly recommend that place :)

It was alright, wouldn't say its value for money though. On the steeper end $98 total w/ 1 drink ($16)Soup - on the smaller end for a spenny soup.Wings are on the sweeter ketchup side, Wing tier wise would be C - D tier.

The ambience is what I first noticed when I came in. A very relaxing place to eat in, with nice seating and some nice views of the courtyard if you get a window seat. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I was most impressed by the fact that they had dakgalbi on the menu. This is a dish I really enjoyed when I lived in Korea but have had a hard time finding it in New Zealand. Even though it was a bit different than what I've had before, the taste was pretty close and the price was good for what we got. Full marks for that!

Overall very good experience.The sashimi platter was 4 slices salmon and all else white fish. No scallop or tuna/kingfish as shown in the photos. - little bit understaffed for the floor staff. My menu was broken too.Apart from the above it was a good location, with good atmosphere. The food all tasted delicious and we will likely go back again. Got it delivered through Ubereats.Ordered 1 Buldak don and one kimchi portion.The portion is a little small for the average person.The taste however was good, kimchi was spicy and flavourful, fried egg was also good and the proportion of chicken to rice on the Buldak don was good but couldn’t say the same for the assorted vegetable portion in the Buldak don.The price is on the above average side. Not student friendly But the taste is very good for a weekly outing meal.
