Second time here today, brought my 2 other work mates. Very yummy foods, can’t wait to be back. Full on busy as soon as they opened at 12pm probably cause uni has started about 2 weeks in. Highly recommending booking in advance. Few photo items on the menu are misleading (in a good way) as they appear to look small on the menu but is actually a large proportion, for example the rice cakes. But it’s fine if you’re from south Auckland cause no feeds are too big for us south Aucklanders

Great food, reasonable prices, fantastic service. We don't live in Dunedin but always make a point of stopping here if we are coming through. Best Korean food around.

Pictured is the seasoned and honey soy flavors, both half boneless. Portions are larger here for a half boneless compared to Papa's chicken, so was happily surprised at how large two half orders were! Perfect for sharing. Flavor wise, the seasoned flavor here is more sweet savoury with a slight tomato flavor. Honey soy is pretty good too. Do pre order or order online if you can, it gets quite busy here.

Great little Korean restaurant in Wanaka! My partner and I and our friend came here and decided to share food amongst us to enjoy it all. We got Beef Bulgogi, Don Kasu, Dak Galbi, Yum Yum Dak, Saewoo Jogae and of course Kimchi - it was all delicious and freshly made. Monica was phenomenal and always checked up us, making sure everything was good. She had fantastic customer service and we had good yarns with her whilst we had Soju shots (not including her), she is definitely a big part of why this dining experience was fantastic. She even allowed us to stay a little past closing time of 9:30pm so we could finish our soju. Highly recommend!

Delicious Korean fried chicken. I loved the combination options available. Affordable prices, quick service, and very friendly staff. I definitely recommend eating at Seoul Mate. We will definitely be back!

3 of us went in super hungry and left super full. The only downside was how long we had to wait for our food, but it was understandable considering there was a group gathering upstairs. I am highly confident that if there had not been a gathering everything would have been speedy speedy speedy. Love the food x10

The Korean fried chicken here is also quite good but a word of caution: if you are ordering the volcano chicken, its super duper spicy so unless you can handle top level of spicy, go for a milder option which is the hot spicy.

Nice restaurant, a bit odd and old place but still reasonable okay. Very suitable for family and friends dining. Try the spicy pork, it is hot plate and so nice with rice. Don't forget to have some nice Korean beer called Hite.
