Liked · Comfortable king bed, awesome shower, warm room, friendly room service. Could be a top-notch stay if they fixed all the little bits and pieces and upped the cleanliness. Good tea/coffee facilities.Disliked · Tatty room (nowhere to hang your towels as the towel rails had been broken off and not replaced, dusty surfaces, extremely worn out doormat that was also a slip hazard, broken bathroom lock), inconsistent wifi (I didn't receive a reply from the motel phone number, so unplugged our extender/router and it worked better lol), no face cloths or hand towel (even after requesting), sofa bed was uncomfortable, no bath, not enough cups etc for the amount of guests staying.

Walked in the room was in there for about1 minute. Smelt like smoke and had mould all over the curtains. Seemed like it hadn't been cleaned before.Only good thing was the receptionist was quick to refund us. She must do it often.

Please do not stay here the experience we had was not good. We booked because it was close to claudlands this was the only plus. This motel is being used as emergency housing which they don’t tell you upon booking we happened to end up in a unit next to some people who decided to have a big screaming match and a lot of slamming doors and screaming by a woman we felt that unsafe we left at 12.15am and drove home to tauranga.The units are also run down and would suggest never staying at the establishment even if it is close to claudlands

Room good. Attention to details needed. Room slept 3 . Only one chair .one cup. One glass. Spare pillows no covers and. Grubby. Shower rail fell apart also towel rail. Dirty socks under bed. And an infestation of ants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Could do better.

My wife recently stayed for employment purposes. The main requirement and enquiry was this motel used for emergency housing purposes? On arrival she became very aware of the clients and felt very unsafe as a result.The Wi-Fi did not work, there were no pillow cases on the pillows which were in serious need of throwing out.There was no tv remote and general cleanliness could be improved. There was no breakfast availability. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Don't normally write reviews, wish I could give this place a 0. Disappointed to find out on arrival this place is used as temporary housing, endured an alcohol fuelled argument outside my room in the middle of the night which involved objects being thrown at cars. My bed was 2 different height single beds pushed together, the uneven edges of the bed making an uncomfortable judder bar in my bed to compliment the springs in my back. I travel for work every week, and this is hands down the absolute worst place I've stayed. Dirty, broken light fittings and flickering lights, holes in the walls, through stained and torn curtains i see old rubbish bins outside my windows among overgrown grass to compliment the 2 skip bins outside my bedroom, which are constantly veing used to dispose of beer bottles from rowdy guests. Do not come here, I wish I'd seen the reviews before I did!

This would be the WORST place to stay. DON'T put yourself through it! No TV in lounge, TV in bedroom with no remote, no A/C remote. only one dining room chair. Couch swallows you whole as it is clearly broken. No handtowel provided. towel rail broken off. light in bathroom doesn't work. only one face cloth. Plus to top it all off- its full of emergency housing scummy people. You would be better keeping the $200 in your pocket and sleeping in the car for the night! I just wish I checked the reviews before booking!

Room has a weird smell to it like something is rotting. No wifi at all in room (should have read the reviews as this seems to be an ongoing problem). Furniture is tatty with rips in the chairs.

DO NOT STAY HERE.It is used as temporary housing.The room has broken light sockets and cupboards, patched and unpatched holes in the wall, dirty crumb infested carpet and the bathroom could use a tidal wave of bleach or fire.There are stained and torn curtains, broken window latches to prevent the window closing, cockroaches, discarded rubbish bins, 2 skip bins outside the door that constantly has housing residents throwing their empty beer bottles into.Bed is two different height single beds pushed together that offer no cushion over the springs and spiders in and on the bed.
