As their are very few vets in dunedin and with them taking on the clients of closed down vets these people are doing the best with they can. Its not easy work and the added stress but i know my cat will always be well taken care of here

Almost impossible to get an urgent appoinment. Very low level of examination and lack of exhaustive questions about a very young sick cat, ended up in a fatal situation :(, very dissapointed.

We found out that they did not vaccinate for kennel cough and we found out at the kennel that this had happened and it stuffed up our Christmas travel. It cost us for kennel where we could not accept the dog and also had to accept for the after hours call to check if the vet just missed to put the sticker on, etc. Not happy.

Vets and nurses are super nice and professional enough. But, the booking system is totally a piece of xxxx. Got my cat booked for vaccination, changed appointment twice with wrong cat being registered for that appointment.

Today was our first time using Humanimals since Mornington Vets merged with them. They were able to make an appointment for our cat the same day we called. My wife was very upset but was immediately calmed and reassured by the kind lady on the front desk. Both the vet (Ellen) and the vet nurse (Alya) were wonderful and took the time to explain to us what the diagnosis was and how they will treat it. Thank you.

As the vet in st kilda closed i had to take my pet here.My dog, a 15-year-old Jack Russell, in excellent health and well-being, must have an injection every month for his skin problems.The injection must be in half a dose due to his age and size, however, the supposed doctor who treated me insisted on administering a full dose because otherwise it was not business for them.To my face, he told me that money was more important than my dog's health. Horrified, I replied that all the animals that were waiting in the room, and all those who were treated at that vet, were really in tremendous danger, but he insisted that money came first and that his vet was just another business.Of course, I ran away scared.

Impossible to get hold of anyone. Was on hold for an hour+ while my brother was also on his line trying to reach for someone multiple times.Gave up trying with Humanimals, and ended up getting hold of a different vet.Bloody shocking Humanimals, I understand there can be many emergency's on the go, but some communication would've been nice.

Only have had a couple of brief vists, but staff were lovely each time and helpful over the phone too. Busy as was during the merger with Mornington Vets.Long delay (3wks)for a free time to see my non urgent cat problem, but that appears to be a Dunedin wide issue. :-/

Was were required to make a $1000 payment upfront for a surgery, the dog had to be euthanised before the surgery and after 3 weeks we have still not received a refund after many phone calls.It is very difficult to contact them by phone (up to 45 minutes wait time) and no response to emails. I would defiantly recommend anyone else!!!!!
