Number One Shoes
Terrible service and cheaply made shoes. Purchased shoes for $60 and after wearing them for a couple of hours had to take them off because they were cutting against my ankle. Tried to return them for an exchange or refund the very next day. Was told that they can't accept them because I wore them. You're better off purchasing shoes from the warehouse or other outlets as you'd get the same if not better quality for a lower price with better service. Will no longer buy from these guys!

Nov 9, '22: Haven't been in this store for a looong time, but they were just as friendly & helpful as the staff were the last time I visited. Had a quick look around while everyone was busy adding stock to shelves etc but they still asked if I needed help finding anything. Found what I needed and paid at counter (nice small talk with the lady). Will go back soon as I saw some other shoes I'd like.

Can't go wrong! Was impressed by school schools. Would normally pay way more but seem good for price though time will tell.

Please change the time you close on a Thursday in Porirua. Website says 9pm but when I got to the store just before 8pm they said they were closing soon. Eitherwise nice friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. As soon as we walked in the door they said hello. Helpful and friendly. My son, wife and I all ended up getting something because if this. Great shoes at great prices

Was in Number 1 shoes in Upper Hutt this morning and had a Great Customer service person helping me out with some shoes to go out with, would like to say A Great Huge Thank you to Tracey who did exceptional customer service for me and my stupid feet, love the shoes that i brought, i really didnt care about the price it was the exceptional customer service you gave me which really stood out, which you really went out of your time and way to help me, so Thank you so much.
