We chose zebra blinds and he told me it will take 3-4 weeks as it's not made in NZ.18/01 - He did the measurement.30/01 - I asked for update and he said will arrive by 16/0216/02 - Not heard anything from him17/02 - He said to pay the other 50% so he can book the job which I did. I said best time to install is either 22 or 23 so I will be home on those days. He said OKAY.18/02 - He called in saying he can do the job this day which was a surprise, luckily my wife is at home so I said yes.20/02 - He went in to install the blinds. HOWEVER, he wasn't able to finish the job because he doesn't have his ladder with him and couldn't reach the other window. I mean he was the one who measured the windows and he is well aware that one window is high so he will need ladder to step on and forgot to bring it the day on the install??He tried to borrow ladder from the builders on the neighbor but they don't have one. He said he will come back the following day instead.21/02 - It's already 2pm and he still didn't show up. I rang him and he said he is just finishing a job and will need to get his ladder before going to our place to finish the install.4pm - rang him and he said that he couldn't finish the job today unfortunately! This is when I exploded and told him he's unprofessional and the service is appalling.Even after failing us we don't feel that we were his priority.Lack of communication, not following schedule, unpreparedness were the things that Peter need to work on.Quote CN1201004
