Favorite bookstore in Auckland. The owner was incredibly polite and helpful. Impressive collection of books on art, history, and prominent people. We snagged a few new fantasy publications along with a card game.

An absolute gem of a bookstore, a real treasure trove of books of wide variety matched with stellar personable service. They really are your local bookstore with familiar faces and a fabulous selection of books that you won't find in mainstream/chain bookstores. Love the little outdoor reading area they have & being a family of avid readers, I was really impressed with their children books section as well :)

Amazing bookstore with such a lovely selection to browse through - it's hard not to walk out without a book in hand. The staff are very helpful and relaxed. It's always an absolute delight to visit Lamplight Books.

the best!! they’ve got the books other stores don’t seem to have, friendly + helpful staff, competitive price points. great urban planning/design selection! compared to unity, also very relaxed and spacious for easy browsing
