I had the tuna poke bowl (though it came with salmon instead) and it was delicious. Nice heat from the wasabi mayo. My partner and I split the Bounty for dessert (YUM!!). Service was exceptional. Gorgeous views. I can imagine this place being packed in the summer but it was decently busy on a Wednesday night in autumn. Thank you!

How wonderful to find a brilliant Charlie’s restaurant at OnetangiWe thoughtfully enjoyed the meal local wines & beer .Staff so friendly, happy souls , funny & had time to chat with us, take photos etc .Clean toilets & great across from the beachWould return if in New Zealand again

Amazing food and absolutely STUNNING service from the lovely lady in the salty crew hat. Such an inviting atmosphere made even better by the gorgeous staff who were really attentive and sweet. Latte martini was 100/10

Perfect lunch spot! Tuna poke bowl was delicious as was the shrimp and crayfish roll. Panhead Super Charger quenches your thirst after the beach!

Usually a great restaurant pub with a fantastic beer garden but the day we were there for lunch.... they broke the golden rule.... they actually ran out of food. We waited for over an hour but the waiter kept saying to us that the kitchen is backed up and would we like another drink while we waited, which we did. We were eventually told by the waiter what the actual problem was, there was no more food. We paid our drinks bill and moved next door to eat where the food was fantastic along with reasonable pricing.

Nice view, but things going expensive here, $28 hamburgers and $5 ginger beerTaste good but not enough for a man.P.s. the menu soaking in red wine is disgustingly stinky.

What was great about the place: the staff were very accommodating and cheerful. All of them from the one who took orders, to the one who took payment were wonderful which is the reason for the 2 stars.The food however was a big letdown. The calamari was soggy and just came all by itself (Like cmon if you're going to charge $25 for a main dish, at least have a side salad or something on the plate). The poke bowl flavours did not really complement each other. The crayfish roll had potato chips with it (quite literally the $1.99 a bag supermarket potato chips, again cmon if you're going to charge $28 for a roll at least make the chips in your kitchen.Sorry, but the food was really disappointing which is a shame because the staff & location were awesome.

Came for the location. Food is average and expensive for what you get. Tuna Poke bowl did not have fresh fish and over priced at $28. Chicken wings were nice though, 4 wings for $24 but sounds better better if you say 8 nibbles for $24! I'd rather pay a little more and enjoy 372 next door.
