Firstly - the fish and chips are wrapped in newsprint paper which is a great start. This is a large and a medium snapper fillet crumbed, and they were huge pieces, with a scoop of chips. A great feed of F&C's and well recommend. Perhaps the chips were slightly on the small size of portion.The only negative was that due to very high demand, there was a long delay between order and delivery, so my recommendation on peak nights is to order well before you need it.The photos show the fillets with a can of coke so you can see the size of the fillets.

Easily the best fish and chips in the bays and it’s great that you can purchase fresh fish to take home.Stopped in this time for a potato fritter on the way home but am a regular for their toasted sandwiches and battered fish, 10/10!James AshwinKakapo Business Sales

10 out of 5 stars, HIGHLY recommend. BEST fish n chips in Auckland. We had a big feed from here last night, the crumbed snapper was SOO delicious and fresh, it fell apart and melts in your mouth. Also the service was amazing, so friendly and squeezed in our big order even though they were shutting at 8pm. Will definitely be back ;) :)

WORST FISH AND CHIPS IN NZ!!I am a HUGE Fish and Chip enthusiast. I have been to over 200 Fish and Chip stores in NZ. This is the WORST!!The “fish” is literally almost ONLY batter!! Very very thick doughy batter. Look at the photos i have taken. Eww!Batter was very soft, no taste. I felt like i ordered fried bread, not fish!! Terrible place.

ok now this was my go to and still after missing it for years nothing has changed > always friendly staff who deliver your order to the car or call your order from the door. responsibly priced and options of crumbed or battered fish + a good selection of sides. we all here the price is on the rise for the kiwi favourite however if your going to lose your bananas - it’s called inflation - photo below (paua fritter and fish cake fritter with a hand full of crispy hot chips)

It’s a shame more of the locals don’t take the time to write a review.This has got to be the best fish and chip shop in Auckland.Family owned and operated, with a great vibe, great prices, great chips, fresh fish, and always busy. You know it’s good when they’re too busy to have Uber Eats.Fresh fish from the window is an option (the blue cod is a particular treat) to go straight on the grill or in the fryer.It’s a true Kiwi fish and chip shop, that doesn’t screw you on the serves and prices.

Average at best...Prices do not reflect its worth...chips average, fish below average, hotdog worse then the fish, spring roll looked and tasted dull. The best thing was the Watties Tomato Sauce and the service was friendly.

Best value fish and chips ever! It is very very busy, over an hour wait on Fridays and Saturdays for a good reason. Two snappers, chips, crabstick and a hotdog for under $20!
