This place is stunning- you can imagine the Mitchell family of 10 living in this well crafted cottage. The grounds are well looked after and only minutes away from the main road. If you have a 4wd be sure to go visit the Obelisk further up the road.

Mitchell's Cottage
Just loved it. I was taken back in thought as to how hard it would have been then with 10 children and none of the home appliances we have now. So cold in winter. So windy and so hot in summer. I loved being there. Lovely visit and lovely views.

Well I found it interesting to see just how well built this very old house is.The families story is an epic of survival in an inhospitable environment.Go see it after you check out Alexandra and the vineyards.
