Story to be continued, but I am writing this review for my recent visit. If you are suffering some body pain, looking for a trustworthy therapist, my story will tell you Joanne is always the best one!Last year, I had a bad calf strain (Right) again! Unfortunately, Joanne was too busy at that time, I couldn't book appts with her at first place. So someone recommended me another therapist where I received treatments over almost half year. They barely gave me massage, only 10-15mins every time, they ever put me on a fabulous-looked machine for compressing and icing. However, I still feel tightness on my calf or slight pain after playing squash from time to time.I decided to see Joanne again as my left knee is not good as well. I knew she is always the one who can solve those problems. She spent about 15 mins to diagnose what caused the discomfort, then explained to me with her friend" which I secretly name "Mr Bean"

Spent a few weeks visiting family in Auckland and was having some back issues. Found Joanne and she was great. Very professional and was spot on with her assessment and treatment. Clearly she is one of the best in the north shore. Price is right too coming from the US where a similar treatment would easily be double what she charges. Rebecca at the front desk was also lovely and pleasure to speak with. Thanks again ladies! Hope to see you on my next visit. Cheers! Jeff

If you are looking for a run of the mill Physio then don’t go to Joanne Hornsby. She is a Physio extraordinaire. She is highly skilled and trained and what’s more she listens to what her clients say and has amazing empathy.She has helped me navigate my way through injuries and surgery and has enabled me to live a healthy, active lifestyle.I have referred friends and all speak highly of Joanne. As for me I will not even consider going to another Physio she is that good.I can not speak highly enough of Joanne and I certainly recommend her highly.

Joanne is an exceptional physiotherapist. She is an excellent communicator and has empathy for your injuries. In addition, she has great knowledge and understanding on how to treat the body. Her hands on approach with massage treatment is intense and effective. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a wonderful practitioner.

I wholeheartedly recommend working with Joanne Hornsby. In 2016 Joanne helped me with ‘frozen shoulder’ with which I struggled for a year. After seeing Joanne for only a couple of months, the muscles released completely and my shoulder returned to its full mobility! From the start Joanne communicated positive expectation of success and healing which is incredibly important. I am deeply grateful for the most effective treatment and home exercises. THANK YOU.

Joanne is a fantastic, very knowledgeable expert in all parts of the body. Her deep tissue massage has to be experienced to realise just how good she is at this. Her rooms are clean and warm and I value her friendly and kind manner. I cannot recommend her too highly.

My shoulder problem was diagnosed and fixed by Joanne very quickly. Joanne is very friendly and professional which instantly put me at ease, she shares her expert knowledge in such a way that i could understand what had happened and the course of action for recovery. Joanne has the magic touch. After many falls from my horse the past few years, Joanne has been my life saver, by relaxing tight muscles and giving me easy lessons to follow on getting strong again. She listens to me, she just knows where it hurts and then works on another part of me and I ask, ‘why are you there?’ And she says “this is the part that needs attention”, and she is always right. I hobble into the waiting room and I dance out after Joanne’s treatments. She also has expert hands for a massage- just bliss and I feel amazing afterwards, for days and days. She has truly magic hands, a kind heart and is a person who actually cares and listens.

Joanne is excellent and really does provide a professional duty of care for her patients she works on the injuries and clears all the affected areas around the injury. She gives rehabilitation exercises to follow on with for your aftercare program.Highly recommend Joanne to my friends and family with any injury any time.
