Tairua shores Motel saved our bacon big time as we were unable to make it back home to Pauanui due to flooding and trees down.We phoned up after hours and was offered a room for the night. The room was warm and spacious and had all the amenities. The double bed was massive and very comfortable.Many many thanks for helping us out

What a great motel in Tairua! Stayed a weekend, wished we could have stayed longer. Great location. Super quiet. Only a 5-10 walk along the waterfront to the town centre. The motel unit was spacious, immaculately clean and had everything we could have needed - and more! The unit had a lovely outdoor patio area and a fabulous view. We were made extremely welcome and the recommendations for eating out and activities to do in the area were spot-on! Can't wait to come back for another stay at Tairua Shores Motel! :-)

Getting a bit old and needs updating. Few things not working like bedside lamp and curtain missing few hooks and outdoor furniture looking like they are passed their working life and may collapse. There was a capsule coffe machine but no cupsule provided.

Clean and nice accommodationClose to beach , beautiful viewClean tidy room good equipment in kitchen , like coffee machine with free capsule , BBQ etc . Quiet and peaceful place to stay. Good services and staff attitude.We came from auckland for 3 days trip and stayed in Tairua shore motel. Perfectly for The family trip Sarah

My partner and I found this place by a fluke and what an awesome little gem! We came here for a fishing trip and man is the location spot on with not just fishing but heaps more to explore and do. The owner went well above our expectations and what a great fellow to have a chat with. If you want to get away and find things to do VERY CLOSE BY then this simple, clean, comfortable and very affordable location is my first choice and hopefully yours too!
