7pm Wednesday night. Walk in.No chicken, no halloumi, no spicy rice.Just under $30 for a burger with drink and fries with a shared plate of 4 boneless thighs. ($60 for 2 people).Lots of fries, kumara chips were nice, but chicken in the blat wasn't great and thighs were tiny.Plates just put on the table without telling us what anything was ( mixed ours up with another party at our table).Nandos sadly became a Nandont

First time coming to the Sylvia Park branch and it was pretty good! Have a new thing going on (or maybe I'm just a bit late) where you can scan the QR code on the table to order! Got one of their $15 half chicken promotion which was delicious. Service was pretty fast and when I noted them that the cups were running low, they restocked fast. Only down side was there seemed to not be much people cleaning up after tables so we just had to sit at a table with previous plates stacked on the adjacent tables.

I don’t ever write reviews but I would give a 0 if I could. Absolutely appalling service from the Sylvia Park store. Placed an online order at 7:25pm and food was expected to be ready at 7:45pm. We arrived and they said that the food wasn’t ready (as expected it’s not always ready on time) and was told it would be another 40 minute wait as they had not gotten to our order yet. Asked for a refund to which we were told that it was not possible and that we have to contact head office ourselves. Asked to speak to the manager who said no I’m too busy and refused to speak to us. Disgusting service from someone who calls himself a manager. Can’t even take a few minutes to even help his staff let alone provide a solution to customers in his restaurant. We were not expecting a compensation, we simply just wanted a solution to the predicament we were in.

Nandos Sylvia Park was closed for a little while, assuming for renovation. Despite advertising that they will reopen on the 1st of July, they didn't open until last week.We went in around 8pm to have dinner. The restaurant was relatively quiet, 5 tables were occupied.There was a group of 4 in line to order before us. After they'd ordered, the person taking orders left the till for a while and didn't say anything, despite us waiting there while the other group ordered.The person came back a while later, ready to take our order but told us there is only half a chicken left. Seriously?! How does Nandos have half a chicken left at 8pm mid-week? It sounded absolutely absurd. In all the years we've been eating Nandos, the several branches we've been to and dined later at night on some occasions, never have we been told that there is only x amount of chicken left.Needless to say half a chicken would not have been enough so we left, disappointed.

This isnt our first time eating at theSylvia park branch, but it is the first time i feel compelled to post. The place was bustling when we arrived for dinner, about 2/3 of the restaurants were full. And my order took about 30min. I ordered a whole chicken with peri peri chips and garlic bread. The chicken was juicy and well cooked. The bread however looked exceptionally burnt, but the waiter didnt care. The peri peri chips came with no peri peri salt. There were no plates, and there were no cutleries. When we went back up to the counter, they said they were sorry there was none left. Not a good experience but i hope it’s a one-off.

Good food, service was in good time too. Did have some issues with speed of service a few months ago but they seem all good now.Nandos has a hand washing station for customers which I always appreciate though on this occasion the paper towel dispenser was broken so made do with napkins.Food was great though, tasty and the chips were nice and fresh.

We went to this branch hoping it will have better service and availability of food on their menu. Sadly greeted with a handwritten list of items not available from their menu.According to staff, wait time is 30 to 40 minutes.While waiting, we had to clean a table for ourselves with serviettes from their condiments counter, despite the restaurant not being full and with a couple of staff just standing behind the counter.The brand used to have so much to offer but the service of this Branch is seriously going downhill. Similar thing is happening in Manukau and Botany branch.This is avery lovely furnished restaurant that desperately needs better management.

Chicken is either burnt or the grill hasn't been cleaned properly, u tend u get the burn sauce taste. The platter that our food came in was broken, this is a health and safety concern.

I reviewed this place about a year ago and gave it 4 stars but I've actually come back to delete my review and post a new one based on my last 2 visits as it's shocking. Wait times were 45-60mins and as we ordered in the app, there was nothing to let us know of this before we ordered. They had no coke, no Fanta, 2 or 3 bottles of sprite no other drinks along with a sign at the counter with a LIST of all the ingredients they didn't have available (some of them integral parts of their menu).When our food finally arrived, it was unpleasant, my burger bun tasted stale and there was no sauce at all. The toilets were also filthy, worse than public toilets. I don't plan on coming back to the restaurant again.

Went for lunch with my family , many tables were not cleared i have to go around to find cleared table for 4. Fortunately we found one and settled in. Food was good delivered to us shortly . Since cutlery, bottle of water and glasses are self serve my son had to pick them up in a designated corner . There were plates in the said section but no forks and knives . Bottled water was at a farther section and no glasses provided. It’s not organised at all.Food was ok except the paella was just a fried rice .
