Columbus Coffee staff were moderately friendly, rather prompt.The salad could use more tossing and dressing as all the goods were at the bottom. Price is a little steap creaping at $9 for only a small bowl of salad for one, I've had more for less $ at other places.The sweet foods and tea were lovely I could have gone for seconds (this would be my go-to).The building also was easy to find and available parking amongst other shops.Seating is available both inside and out (sheltered), inside has seating for 2 people too close to the toilets so wouldn't recommend sitting there.There is no atmosphere's other than staring at other people. Walking around the shops and getting hungry would I only go back.

Incredible coffee and the Eggs Benedict was top notch. Clean and tidy. Was starting to fill up when we got there at 11am on a Sunday so might be best to phone ahead if you are in a hurry.

While visiting a friend in Ashburton, we decided to have some yummies and knew for sure that Columbus wouldn't disappoint. Sure enough the food was delicious and the coffee, as great. While the wait staff could have been a bit more chipper, its comforting to know that least they weren't faking their niceties. Would recommend!

What looked like a rough little place from the outside turned out to be a real treat. The food was amazing. The best Egg Benedict I've had in a very long time. Eggs were perfect. Coffee was excellent too. What is obviously a well kept secret for the locals is very much on our must return" list"

Great place to grab a coffee or smoothie. They never fail on quality here. My wife and I just went here today for a couple of cold drinks. I would highly recommend! I have not had their food here yet but I will update once I do. They look like they have some really good food options though. I will definitely be trying the eggs benedict.

Friendly staff but unbearably noisy banging crockery, utensils, and grinding coffee. Makes for a difficult time talking, enjoying the atmosphere, and relaxing, particularly if the cafe is also busy.Food is usually good and enjoyable, especially the burgers and breakfasts.The summer time hokey pokey frappe is worthwhile. All other menu frappes are basic (pictured) and slightly too watery.Lots of convenient parking and close to other shops.
