Storage building for a ceremonial waka. Doesn't look to have been used for some time as it's pretty dusty inside. The carvings on the prow and gunwales are intricate but the dust and the bird poor spoil it a bit. The stern of the waka also appears to be missing. There are waka in better condition to be seen down near the boat ramp in Whakatane.

這艘50年歷史的毛利人傳統船已經移走去維修，木棚上的照片看到到了原來的美貌。木棚旁邊有一塊於1975年由Mauao山遷移過來的大石，石上長滿了地衣。
