I've gone to this Chinese restaurant twice and had fried rice with shrimp in both occasions. It tastes fresh and delicious. Friendly service too!

Service was good as were some of the dishes, especially the fried rice. Other than that, most of the food was decent but not special, which was a disappointment given the pricier menu.

Absolutely amazing place to go for dinner! The staff were amazing and so friendly and the food was just delicious. It didn't feel too heavy (even after 3 mains, 3 appetizers and 2 desserts between 2 people) and it is because the quality of food was perfect.41 years this restaurant has been opened and it took me 27 years to finally try it. Wish I had gone sooner!!Definitely our new go to restaurant

Agree with another review - Food was decent but not special. Portion was quite small considering the price. Location might be the reason though.

This Chinese restaurant has been in the same location for over 25 years, and I simply love it. The decor is simple and basic, but the food is authentic and amazing. We love their regional Chinese specialities. They do offer their Anglicized Chinese versions, too. Generous portions. Definitely value for money. Drinks are reasonably priced. Unpretentious good food and my pick for Chinese in Wellington.

Incredible serving speed, we waited for one hour just for soup. We ordered four dishes, waited for more than an hour and a half, and there were not many guests.

Loved it great service and delicious food. I felt really looked after by staff who were very helpful with excellent food reccomendations and getting food out quickly so we were not late for a show. I would highly recommend Jasmin.
