Tairua Campground - Paradise Coast

Excellent place to stay! The owners are extremely friendly and happy to give you tips and places to see! Even lent us some rods :) They even gave us some fresh fish they had just caught! Facilities were excellent condition! I highly recommend this place to stay!

The manager and family are awesome.. very helpful. Loaned me a fishing rod as we mentored we'd forgotten to pack mine. Then when we didn't catch anything have us some fresh snapper filters and smoked kawhai yum.. couldn't recommend this camp ground more highly. Very clean, and great facilities.. this was our 2nd visit and we'll be back

Pleasant little camp with clean facilities and large flat sites for caravanners like us. Charlie is an excellent host, friendly and helpful.Camp is well located. Around the corner are library, shops, cafes, bar, and fuel station. Cross the road and go through walkway to the pretty estuary edged by grassy picnic areas complete with children's playground.Take a short drive or walk to the marina or beautiful Ocean Beach. A great spot.Really enjoyed our stay.

One of the best campgrounds I've stayed at! The host was very nice and welcoming. Facilities were clean and in good condition. The place also has a cozy vibe and it truly felt like home :)

Fabulous stay for all, the hosts Heather and Charlie make you feel so welcome. The most hospitable hosts you could ask for. We are truly grateful for the most amazing week in this beautiful place and would highly recommend. Will definitely be back next year Xxx

Amazing camp, really nice kitchen and everything super clean.Charlie is great and chill guy, he welcomed us and show us the camp and gave a tips for activities to do around.We planned to stay 1 night but ended up to stay 2.We've had perfect time -so definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Thank you!

I stayed at the campground, as part of a trip with a dive club. Charlie was very friendly, and accommodating, which made organizing the trip much easier. Can not recommend enough and will definitely be back!!

Exceptional : after 5 months cycling both islands I've come across a whole range of camp sites. Thus has it all, nice clean loos and showers, a great little kitchen with pots and pans, a great lounge area with a table football table and somewhat quirky pool table. But what takes this place to the next level are Charlie and Heather who run the place. You won't meet a more friendly, helpful, generous and hospitable couple on either of the islands. I, like 3 other lone travellers only intended to stay a couple of days to shelter from the poor weather, but ended up staying 2 weeks and chilling out. If you are within a 100ks of Tairua and are looking for a great little site to stay, make a beeline for it!Thanks C&H for creating a great little home from home. Heather and Charlie made this place a second home!Great for families with a nice gaming room. Shallow beach and wonderful playground just across the street.Tairua itself is so wonderful easy and the beaches and the bay is scenic. Great spot to stay for longer!Loved it!
