Great experience overall. Pre op communication was thorough and surgery was straight forward and fast.

Top line: Dr Byatt was friendly, professional, fast and made the whole thing painless (in every sense). You want details, though, so here goes:- Parking isn't free but it only took about 30 mins start to finish- You go in and the Doctor asks you if you have any questions; definitely easier to just let him talk through his script and THEN ask questions- You have to whip down ya underwear and lie on a bed, facing up; you are covered in a paper towl for a modicum of decency but y'know you just have to lie there and get it done- First injection is local aneasthetic - more of a pinch than a sting, but its over so quickly it's really barely noticeable- Dr was very careful to check that it's worked, and that you can't feel anything - and will add some more if you can still feel anything- Then they inject local nearby the first teste- Then he does the little incision in the middle, and hoiks round the right tube- Cauterises it; totally painless but the Dr always checks with you first that you can't feel anything still- The smell of the cauterisation is actually probably the worst bit of the whole thing- Then he does local in the lefty- Then same again with the left tube- They don't sew or glue the incision shut; the cut is literally about 1cm long (perhaps not even that big?)Get given ice, ibuprofen, and told no heavy lifting.Felt fine driving home, and overall feel ok now BUT it does feel like i've been flicked quite hard by an overenthusiastic rugby player in a dressing room...?Now, 24hrs on, and I feel 99% fine with very minimal aches. Absolutely 100% recommend this team if you need to get the snippety snip

Let me start off by saying everything about Snip was amazing.I was nervous about choosing a clinic, you want to go somewhere you can trust with a matter like this and I’m happy I chose Snip. The website was super informative and tells you everything you need to know both pre and post so no worries or anything there.The clinic itself is very good, clean and modern so once again feels like a place you can trust.As for the procedure, it’s fast and basically painless. I was expecting some pain even if only dull or lingering but there wasn’t any for me, totally fine. The doctor and assistant nurse were great, they made sure I knew everything I needed to and kept some general conversation as things were going so everything felt comfortable.After it was done I was able to get up and walk out like normal, I expected to feel like I had been kicked or something but no, it was fine. Follow the doctor’s instructions of course, ice on and off and take it easy for a few days. Anything you need to know, you can call snip and they will answer any questions you have.I got my 3 month test back now and have the all clear 100% success!So all round great experience right from the beginning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Snip as an excellent clinic to have the procedure done.

Very friendly and non-judgmental staff. Short, easy, simple procedure, and a lot of information on how to heal up properly. Far less scary than I thought. 100% would recommend!

I had the surgery about 5 months ago, have since tested clear and it's really such a weight off knowing that I'm now shooting blanks (I was always a little paranoid about it). I'll admit I was a little nervous prior, I really had no idea what to expect, however now having been through it I know that there was no cause for that. I'd been thinking about it for some years, and if I knew then what I know now I would have had it done sooner. Here's why:1. Probably the number 1 concern - how's it going to feel. Just the thought of someone poking around down there with sharp things is bad enough, but on top of that I'd heard/read all kinds of horror stories. I guess maybe once upon a time it was pretty barbaric, however things have come a long way since then. The reality of it was that pain was minimal, I would go so far as to say the procedure was pain free and I only really felt some minor discomfort for a couple of days after. That's it. Honestly it's not even worth worrying about this at all, it's so minor.2. Very simple procedure and recovery. I was in there for maybe half an hour all up, including waiting in the wait room and talking to the doc. Drove myself home afterwards, no problem. Had to take it easy for the next few days and take ibuprofen for a week, but that wasn't a big deal. No sex for a couple of weeks (ymmv), that was about the worst of it. At this point there's not even a visible scar, not that I can find anyway.3. Great staff, very professional. At no point did I feel any kind of judgement or that I needed to explain or justify myself. As a younger (ish) guy (30) I was almost expecting this, however happily I did not experience it at all. Staff were only interested in me fully understanding the procedure and subsequent effects. The Doc's bedside manner was great too, attentive and everything was very professional.Overall I am very happy and have no reservations recommending the procedure here. A very small price to pay for amazing peace of mind.

Seamless, painless and friendly. Great communication all throughout and excellent pre and post op care. Couldn’t have made it much easier.

I was pretty nervous and not keen to do this at all, however it was so quick (literally a five min procedure) and they were so good to deal with. Heaps of info and good communication. Glad its over, but no regrets.
