About the Business
Raupo Café & Restaurant | Blenheim, Marlborough, NZ | Raupo sits on the banks of the Taylor River in Blenheim, right in the heart of the Marlborough Wine region. We are open seven days a week from 7.30am until late. Our on-site traiteur, is stocked daily by our in house pastry chef with a range of sweets, cakes and muffins available to enjoy in the café or paired with a takeaway coffee for those on the run.

We had a light lunch here on a rainy winter day. Parking was surprisingly difficult despite there being several spaces outside and we ended up with a bit of a wet walk. Of course when we left there were several empty spaces! This restaurant is spacious with plenty of room and seems a place for friends to meet, based on our visit. Our meals were good, particularly the pate and the service was prompt.

Was driving around Blenhiem looking for somewhere to have late lunch and spotted it along road.. it was an awesome place to top for a meal and hot drinks. Will be stopping there again..

We came here for dinner and had ribeye steak. The meat was of good quality and well grilled to our expectation.The salad tastes like it‘s not self-made which is a bit a minus.But the service is lovely and kind and the location itself next to the river is beautiful.They are open 7 days a week, also on a public holiday.

Beautiful environment, waitress was very polite and very knowledgeable about the menu. There was not a long wait to be served and recieve our order. We had to book a table online as it was one of the few restaurants open during the Christmas season in Blenheim

Great location next to river.Good attentive service.Food was a bit of a let down though. Smashed avocado very bland. Coffee pretty average.Not terrible but for the price expected much better.

First of all this cafe is overpriced. I order flat white and I didnt get flat white. I was interested in a plate of cake to choose one but waiter just told me 2 kinds and I had to choose. Piece of Cheesecake for $22 was ridiculous although it was with ice cream. And sitting place on terrace was given to me and they didnt want me to choose my own therefore there was lots of space. Maybe best place for customers with bigger spending. Guest at the afternoon was drunk and noisy. My first and last visit. Athmosphere was abrupt.
