Sushi was pretty average, surprised as there are so many good reviews. The rice was bland and salmon wasn’t fresh. However the rice in the Inari and deep fried rice ball was good.

Awesome and delicious sushi! They have great prices as well as sushi. The seared salmon has the perfect amount of Mayo and teriyaki sauce.Highly recommended.

The food was amazing and cooked perfectly, the service was fast, efficient, and friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely come again.

If you want sushi it's ok. I bought chicken noodles for $14.50 it was so small portion with rarely any chicken pieces.

I can’t understand why people would choose to go somewhere like St Pierre’s when this is just down the road! Awesome selection, fresh tasty sushi every day.

I entered and greeted the younger Asian staff lady who was wearing a checked shirt - she was facing me and I was obviously talking to her - and she totally ignored me. She was rude. I'm not going to eat there again.

First time trying Ara Sushi, it's the best sushi I've had in the Wellington area and has lots of tasty vegan options. Especially enjoyed the inari sushi with seaweed salad.
