Nautilus Estate

Not very busy early on a rainy Saturday. The wines were good. The Albariño was different for the region and worth a try. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Nice wine (I liked the Chardy), nice cheese platter and nice courtyard. A great stop for a snack on the Marlborough wine trail.

Stopped by while spending a day in Marlborough. Did a quick wine tasting and was very impressed. The wines were all phenomenal and reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly and helpful.Smaller wine tasting menu and tasting not refunded on a purchase but still worth it.

Very underwhelming experience! The seating area is right by the road with passing trucks and we were barely given information given about the wines. Would give this one a miss!

First class wine tasting, reasonable price and excellent salmon pate platter for sharing . Wines were excellent also!

We had a disappointing tasting experience here compared to other wineries we visited. The staff serving were disinterested, offered no explanation about any of the wines served rather just plonked them on our table and had to constantly check which tasting we were doing. We had planned to get a cheese platter but decided to move on given the service. You would have a far more enjoyable tasting experience at a number of the other wineries.

Really disappointing experience after arriving from Forrest. The young woman serving us was friendly enough but we were given an incredibly basic tasting service, as in the 4x wines came intermittently, our host was confused about which wine we were up to and no explanation was given about the wine aside from which wine it actually was. I've never been to a tasting before where it was simply poured with no explanation about tasting notes etc. The woman who served our platter had walked away before we could even answer her question about whether we needed anything else and when we went to pay, the third woman had no idea what we were paying for, was quite cold in her communication and was already in conversation with another staff member when we thanked her after our transaction went through. I heard one staff member saying how busy they were (it was a public holiday so definitely a steady crowd but nothing crazy) but in hospitality that is never an excuse for poor service. Agree with previous review about expecting more for a $30 platter also. Probably our most disappointing tasting experience yet.

We were specifically looking for a small, family vineyard and Nautilus came highly recommended. We were not disappointed. Welcoming hostess, tasty wine and a yummy cheese platter, a in front of a roaring fire. And reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!

As part of a winery tour we started our trip at Nautilus.After having finished the tour I must say that the quality at Nautilus -for us- turned out to be the poorest in comparison to the other wineries.Although the tasting was very well presented and the cheese platter is very delicious.

There’s better wineries you can go to in the area, I would give this one a miss. It feels a bit pretentious as you walk in and does not have the same unique or welcoming feel as other wineries in the area. The wine was good but nothing amazing to justify visiting here. Give it a miss.
