Oh my stars, my daughter rung and got a last minute appointment while up here on holiday. Katherine was truly amazing, awesome empathy. Made the whole experience looking for a wedding dress so special for bride and mother of the bride felt so welcome.Highly recommend A1

I had such a wonderful experience with Brides of Merivale. For me, choosing my dress was such a big part of the planning process. I went along to one of the sales and from that day till the end, the team at Brides of Merivale were amazing. At each appointment, they were so extremely thorough and took time to alter my dress to fit me perfectly - and it really did! It was such a personal experience as I was always greeted by name and they knew which dress I had purchased, even when I came back after a few months to get it cleaned! It is such a bonus that Brides of Merivale clean the dresses - I knew my dress would be so cared for and it was boxed up and ready for me to store away at the end.I can’t recommend Brides of Merivale enough! If you are thinking of places to look for dresses, definitely go see Lisa and the team!!

I had a perfect experience with the ladies at Brides of Merivale. From start to finish, Kathryn made picking out my dream dress so easy. She was so patient, helpful, warm, and charming (not to mention extremely talented - she helped my vision of my wedding dress come to life) I am so thankful for all the hard work and alterations that went in to creating my dream dress. I had my dress ordered in from a brand that Brides of Merivale stock (but the dress itself wasn't in store) as I already knew what I was wanting. I had my final fittings and adjustments made here and Kathryn made the trip down to Christchurch so worth it. She was lovely, made everything easy for me, did a great job of adjusting the dress and I had such a lovely experience. Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn and team.

I had the most amazing experience with the team at Brides of Merivale. They helped me through every step and I felt beautiful in my dress at my wedding. The Team at BOM I would highly recommend for your wedding. They are friendly, knowledgeable and just absolutely fabulous. I had the best experience with Brides of Merivale. Rochelle created a bespoke outfit for me based on some sketches I provided, and it turned out exactly as I hoped it would. Couldn’t have asked for more!

My experience here was not very professional or enjoyable. The lady was very quiet, not very helpful or attentive.Not much size range for all body types and I wasn't fitted into dresses like I would've liked. They were all too loose on me and not sinched in the places that should've been.I did not feel like a bride and walked away pretty unhappy with my experience.

I will confess I was dreading the idea of spending hours trying on dresses. Lisa and the team at brides of merivale not only made the dread go away they made the whole experience enjoyable. Every session was fantastic, they had a personal interest in ensuring I felt great in my dress in my big day. I can’t speak highly enough of everything they did.

While some of us don't get that second chance I have been very fortunate to have had that chance. So I made my appointment and brought my friend along to share this special time. We all don't find our dream gown on the day but that's OK but we like to think we get to be made special regardless of the outcome sadly not for me not only did I feel rushed but was told this shop isn't for me I just Hope the next bride that walks in the door regardless if it's her first or second time that they walk away happier than I did

Unsure what’s happened to the wonderful reputation of Brides Of Merivale. My best friend recently went to find her perfect dress and sadly she was rushed, no effort was made to make her feel special or beautiful, there was no creative or helpful suggestions from the staff, and my friend left feeling stressed, overwhelmed and uncomfortable in her own body. Such a shame. In comparison to other stores we visited the same day, the experience was disappointing. Hopefully the staff member was just having a bad day.
