Great scones! Couldn’t try the rest of the menu as they were extremely short staffed and couldn’t serve a lot of people but hopefully next time.

Food at after tea was poorly presented. Did not have Gaynor touch. Sandwiches should have been cut in quarters. Very untidy between wineglass and reception area.

Stopped by here in March '23 for a glass of wine with a great view. Did not disappoint. Would recommend for a great spot to relax by the lake.

The famous scones were terrible.....Lovely location, great decaf coffee, but I ordered a salmon scone, it came out toasted but frozen in the middle, I returned it, 2nd time around, not quite as frozen in the middle and toasted on the outside... had to ask the staff to nuke it in the microwave....so third attempt of service and i had a very questionable scone for $7.60. this was not acceptable...for a place that was once famous for their scones, they’ve turned to frozen ones… i expected more. staff seemed non chalent about the whole thing. tut tut tut

Views and service is why you'd come here. Attentive and well set.Starters we had tempura mushrooms and paprika prawns.For mains Salmon with minted ricotta and seasonal veggies.55 day aged Alliance Angus with fries. And a side of charred veggies.Paired with a Edgewater pale ale.

Price of coffee increased to an unexceptable level from $5.00 to $6.90. all within a couple weeks. Locals who are your bread and butter will not return.

Chris Nelson (Chef) made the best vegetarian burger today. Very delicious and I highly recommend it.
