Awesome food! And keto options too. Pizza, quiche and a couple of sweet keto treats on offer too. Well priced and served fresh with friendly and very efficient service. Really enjoyed my AK experience.

The physical atmosphere in this cafe is quaint and great with its separate rooms. The staff - no smiling allowed!! The cutlery - let's return the cutlery that is dirty twice before the 3rd set is actually clean. Prices - it's all guesswork and one doesn't really want to hold up the queue asking what each item is worth. Tables - sticky surfaces that may need to be refurbished, with bits on it when moving the S&P to put coffee in position. It was a sunny morning where we were sitting. I'm not sure I'd go again for a meal. This is the second disastrous breakfast I've had there, but thought it was a one-off.**************************In response to your comment about the 'empty plates' - they weren't empty. The scrambled eggs were not cooked through and hubby didn't finish his either for a different reason. The cutlery did not have water marks, it was cutlery that wasn't quite cleaned by the machine, but hardened with the drying cycle. Sorry - was not a good meal at all. Probably won't be coming back :(. I've been for coffee there before with sombre staff serving. It wasn't a one-off, unfortunately.

Pancakes from freezer, cold room as a customer, but hosts write hot cooking. Bad to assume customers come on the same.The small building is old and not earthquake proofed, but interesting.

Found this cute coffee place while craving for a cup. Tried their oat flat white and it was good. The café has a vintage vibe and different seating options in each room. The staff is lovely, making it perfect for long talks with friends. Prices are reasonable too!

3 Stars is very low for me, unfortunately our food was quite tasteless, the bacon chewy, & the hash browns soggy, & delivered cold due to the staff not keeping up with the 8 or so people ordering at once. We hope the staff can get the food to a better level as the coffee was great, and the cafe was in a great location & really well decorated. Will definitely return only for the coffee at this stage.

Innovative real baking - not made from premix. I order sourdough for a Friday - 10/10. Not cheap but worth every dollar - it is delicious, filling - so a loaf lasts ages and looks so healthy.

Told the soup of the day was veggie but I was served pumpkin soup. Unfortunately I hate pumpkin soup. Iced drinks were good and partners eggs Bernie’s was ok nice atmosphere though and treats in cabinet look tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful
