Lovely quiet setting, Noelene is a great host . Supplied some ramps to level camper, extra long power lead too. Great spot to stay while riding the Pou Herenga Tai twin coast cycle trail.

Okaihau Rail Stay
Very nice spot to spend a few days. Noeline has a little train station" with 4 wagons where you can sleep in. A little kitchen with all the stuff you need for cooking etc. We felt very welcome.Everything is very clean and the shower has a lot of power!We would visit it again if we would be in the neighborhood."

Okaihau Rail Stay
We stayed at Okaihau rail stay in their motorhome park. The property was beautifully landscaped and the host was most helpful and friendly. Totally recommend this lovely spot. The accommodation looked spotlessly clean and very inviting - would love to stay in one of the carriages sometime. A great place for a getaway especially if you want to ride the cycle trail to Hoeke as it is just across the road.

Okaihau Rail Stay
The caravan parking is peaceful and comfortable. Exiting and entering the caravan on beautifully manicured lawn meant no mess brought into the caravan. Entering the facilities is like entering a magical world of a vintage railway. The facilities are linked to the theme but are new and clean with accessible washing lotions. There is even a museum style lounging room with comfortable seats and old style games to play with. The host came round in the morning to visit us and check that everything is was satisfactory, a really personal touch. The stay was more than just a place to sleep, it was a memorable experience. Well worth a visit.

Okaihau Rail Stay
We recently stayed in the paddock provided for motorhomes/caravans, so not in the actual carriages, but were invited to view them. The grounds, setting and accommodation are immaculate and very unique, with the owners also very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location worked well for us as base for sections of the Rail Trail

Perfect spot for staying overnight in our motorhome with access to the Twin Coast Trail directly across the road. In a rural setting with local shops close by.

Okaihau Rail Stay
We stayed at the Okaihau Railstay following our 24km cycle from Horeke - it was the perfect location! We stayed in 'Bruce' which was very cosy and the bed was so comfortable! The facilities were shared but were very clean and stocked with everything that you need. I could not recommend the Okaihau Railstay enough!!!

Okaihau Rail Stay
We stayed over the long weekend and had a fabulous time. The place is quaint, and has a nice flat grass area for motorhomes. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and has a homely feel. Recommend if you are passing through or looking to do the twin coast cycle trail.

Okaihau Rail Stay
Staying at the Okaihau Rail Stay is unique and well worth it. Situate right at the path of the Twin Coast Trail the trail can be tackled in either direction.The facilities are spotless and well appointed. A shuttle service can be added to the stay easily. Noeline is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.
