Loved this place when it opened, but the sushi bowl portions are getting smaller and smaller, even when they put the up from $10 to $12.The place could also do with some sort of comfortable lighting and decor, it's really plain and boring.

Noodle bowl seems to be missing alot of ingredients compared to when it first opened. 2nd time buying coffee from here and I don't recommend! The first one I bought was boiling hot, hot enough to melt your tongue. The second time I bought coffee I dined in. The woman started making my coffee and stopped to serve a customer - Allgood. Then carried on making my coffee, but served everyone single person that came in and out, before proceeding to finish making my coffee. She had heated the milk up about 4 times due to her serving everyone (I work in a Cafe and this goes against health regulations, you don't heat the milk more than once!) I was finished my food (30mins) and was still waiting. Customers that were going in and out hadn't even decided what they were having yet, and this employee stopped to stand there until they had picked there food. The coffee was disgusting, burnt and flat. Ordered a cappuccino and it was the worst I've tried. Makes the self serve coffee machines look good

Its self-service place to begin with and the person behind the counter was friendly enough, so it is hard to get this wrong. The food, however, was really disappointing. We got sushi and a pork belly ramen (udon). The sushi was okay--the avocado tasted like it was doused with lemon juice, which made it unappealing. The ramen was really I had an issue with. The broth was bland miso soup (not real ramen broth), while the pork belly was not the classic chashu you'd expect and it was quite dry and bland. Overall, for 10 pieces of sushi and a bowl of ramen, $41 is a bit steep in my opinion.

I love this place! Maybe because I love sushi. We are very lucky to have this in Greymouth. Although the miso soup didn’t impress me, it is still a great place to go if you are hungry.

Service was good, my family got our lunch from the discounted selection so was OK for the money and on point for what we were expecting. Our favorite goto sushi spot in Christchurch overall 9/10
