Our first renovation project with Refresh was our Bathroom and Separate Toilet. We had extensive water damage and therefore had to do a complete renovation. Shamrose was very quick to respond to my email request regarding a visit. The process was clearly explained right from the beginning so there were no surprises along the way. Despite the lockdowns and shipping delays from Covid (issues beyond anyone's control) - the team that Shamrose got together to get the job done were fantastic. From the builders, painters, electricians, plumbers, and the flooring. They were all great to work with and the job was completed.We are very happy with the process. Working with Shamrose took the headache out of planning the project, coordinating with the tradies at different phases of the project, and choosing what fixture and colour options. Everything was at my finger tips which made things so much easier.We are now on our second project with Refresh. We are now working on re-roofing.Highly recommend their service!Thank you Shamrose.

We had bought a house and wanted to renovate the kitchen and two bathrooms. The ensuite had to be redesigned completely and the guest bathroom and kitchen had minor renovations. Refresh was the only company that could help us immediately. The team of trades people were very friendly and professional and Shamrose coordinated their work very well. Me and my husband recently moved to Whangarei from Auckland. We both have jobs and didn’t have time to do reno/coordinate ourselves. So we found Refresh. Shamrose is super professional, knowing budget is our biggest concern as this is an investment house. He coordinated and found different parties and came up with a solution only doing Kitchen benchtop and keep all the cabinets and get them painted only, which saved us $10000.Really happy with the outcome, highly recommended.

We used Refresh Renovations Whangarei for a complete renovation of our two bathrooms and laundry, which were in poor condition due to the age of our property. Refresh made the process quite easy, we were able to review the plans and select all the fixtures and fittings that we wanted until we got a design and price that we were happy with. The benefit of using Refresh is that they order in all the materials first so once the project commences, there are no delays. They also guarantee to be very accurate with the cost, so we knew that there wasn't going to be a huge price variance at the end. We found Shamrose to be very organised and professional, he kept us well informed during the project and he was always calm and reassuring when there was any issues to be dealt with. The project largely ran smoothly and tradies always turned up when they were meant to. From start to finish, the project took about a month which was very good during these covid times when trades are very busy and materials in short supply. We would really recommend using Refresh Renovations as we could not imagine trying to coordinate a renovation like this, with so many trades required at different times, on our own. We had a great experience with Refresh Renovations and Shamrose. They always showed up when they said they would, on time. Their contractors were professional and friendly. The work was completed to a high standard and with no dramas for a reasonable price. I'd certainly recommend using Refresh.

Good service and friendly staff but didn't end up going with them because their quote was almost double that of other contractors. Be aware that an initial site visit and quotation will cost $300, even if you don't go with their services.
