I’ve just had the best experience with Beggs today. Rob Sissons helped me with a J Rockett order that I’d been excited about. He kept me in the loop with the stock arrival and made the whole experience feel seamless and personal. Actually makes you feel like you dealt with an old school mom n pop store. So glad I went local instead of buying overseas. Could not recommend these people more. Thanks!

I have been searching for my dream guitar for a while and recently discovered the Ibanez AZ prestige range of electric guitars which looked to meet that standard. After visiting a couple of MusicWorks in Auckland, I ended up purchasing it from Robbie at Beggs MusicWork's in Nelson after some positive recommendations. I felt I received a much higher level of customer service from Beggs MusicWorks and most importantly I was treated fairly as a customer. Although I was not able to visit the store or try the guitar out in person since I live in Auckland, the whole experience was much better than you might expect, especially with Robbie's great communication and keeping me informed when the guitar would arrive. Beggs also checked the guitar out for potential QC issues so it arrived in perfect condition. I bought the Ibanez AZ2402 guitar and could not be more happy with the purchase and the service I received from Robbie and Beggs.

What can I say, top notch service every time I walk in the door. I have bought a variety of items from Beggs ranging from Studio Monitors, condenser microphones, a PA System, my first Cole Clark, to my latest: A Fender Precision Bass. Robbie is a good friend of mine, but on top of that he is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the products he sells. Beggs is easily the best music store in Nelson, if not the whole of NZ.

Robbie, Luke and Tim are a great team to deal with. Absolutely first-class customer service - great experience, knowledge and support. Nothing is too much trouble or can't be done. Robbie has given excellent advice on recent purchases of a Yamaha PA system and an acoustic guitar and, along with Tim, was so helpful and patient as I made a choice on a vocal microphone. Luke has the player's knowledge and expertise on all things guitar and is great to bounce ideas around with - even going to the trouble of swapping end pins on the bridge of a Martin just to let me hear the difference in sound.They've never let me down, never steered me towards the wrong choice and the price is always fair and competitive. I've always been very happy with my purchases. Buy with confidence from these guys.

I’ve been scrambling around all over. Nelson, looking for audio advice, and then I walked into Beggs and all was resolved, turns out Robbie has a audio tec degree, he was extraordinarily informative and knowledgeable, as it transpired he didn’t even need to sell me anything, he just got me sorted with what I had already, which is fantastic service…. Four little return, and he was still smiling. Great work, five stars for sure.

I have just purchased a beautiful Yamaha digital piano from Beggs Musicworks Nelson. I paid for it on Monday. and it was delivered to Gore by Wednesday.The price was very competitive and the service was excellent.Robbie Sisson was fantastic to deal with, so good in fact that I'm buying another piano from him for another family member.This first piano from Beggs Musicworks Nelson, is for my Neice who I am teaching the piano to, and who loves having lessons on my Yamaha P125, purchased elsewhere 2 years ago.This instrument is so versatile, and I am teaching her both modern music and also classical.I am very happy to recommend this store, and it will in the future be the first place I go to for all things musical.Five stars are not enough. It should be at least 10 stars. Thanks Robbie.The second Yamah P125 piano arrived today, again very fast delivery and excellent service.My 94 year old Mother heard my piano, so also wanted one, despite having a perfect Yamaha acoustic piano.The tone and variations of these Yamaha P125 pianos are fantastic, very easy to set up and suitable for both fmodern music, and those students wanting to sit classical music exams.The weighted key action feels the same as an acoustic piano.They are very good value for money.Thanks again Robbie, Luke and the Staff at Beggs Musicworks Nelson.

Extremely welcoming and helpful, my husband and I are not musical, but out son is learning guitar, and they were great, changing the guitar so it could be played left handed, and answering all out questions. Would definitely go back again if needed.
