Helicopters Nelson Scenic Flights & Commercial Hire
First time in a helicopter, and so glad my partner chose the local operators, Helicopters Nelson, for a private charter along the coastline and including the Abel Tasman National Park. The only way to see some of the great scenery of the area, especially in the front seats.All professional, friendly people, and our pilot Charlie made us both feel relaxed, along with some great conversation. An absolutely amazing experience for life.

What a date!!! We had an amazing experience, a beautiful scenic flight over Abel Tasman out to Awaroa Lodge for lunch and flew back. Charlie was knowledgeable of the area, friendly and really made us feel like we were in safe hands. Sylvie was a delight to book through, she helped me work out the best option for us and didn’t mind my many questions. We had a perfect day for it, gorgeous weather, amazing views and a smooth flight. Couldn’t ask for more!!

I can't praise the staff at Helicopters Nelson enough, they were fantastic! Everything from planning and scheduling our anniversary helicopter tour was perfect. Sylvie the operations administrator was extremely accomodating, helpful and prompt in replies. Tom, our pilot was professional, informative, responsive and friendly. We are already planning our next trip, still in awe over the breathtaking sites. Highly recommend visiting Mount Olympus, it is such an awesome and unusual landscape. Many thanks.
