The mussels were yummy and so was the tasting beer/ cider! The staff were really friendly too!

Hosted a private function for over 30 family members. Food was great, service impeccable! Highly recommend

Went to a friend's farewell. We had snacks provided and bought our own drinks. Bar staff very friendly. Snacks tasty and warm.

What a great place to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. Excellent product. Great friendly bar staff. And thanks to Tim in the kitchen for the great food. You were right about the seafood pizza. Aunty Shirley loved her favourite salt and pepper squid.

Friendly service and good food. There is indoor seating and a beer garden if it's a good day. Prices are good and they do a brunch menu which ends at 11. It's a good option for a Sunday when other cafe/restaurants in Richmond are closed.

Sunday 27th Jan 2019. Popped in for a late lunch after a long drive. Tasty food accompanied by a delightful selection beer for you to choose from. Ended up getting the poutine and spiced chicken wings and the Stoke Nelson Pale Ale (NPA). All so delicious! Great service a d relaxing atmosphere too! I do recommend.

Staff were great, service was great Sml sea food basket very average, batter on fish to thick, ginger beer delicious.

I recently visited McCashins with some friends from out of town. We arrived at 5pm, thinking we would have an early dinner, as we entered, we were politely informed that they were closing at 6pm, however they could do a bowl of fries.We were then offered a pizza as the kitchen hadn’t been completely packed up yet which was perfect for them as they had missed lunch due to travelling.My friends have a toddler and a newborn. They asked if the chips could be kept back in the kitchen until they had cooled down some so that the toddler could dive straight in once they arrived without fear of burning his mouth! This was accommodated spectacularly, with a small bowl of chips being separated out and placed in a fridge to drop their temperature fast! These were then brought to the adults to check the temperature before being offered to the toddler, with his OWN sauce aka toddler heaven!Bang on 6pm a nappy needed changing... there was NO pressure put on us to be out of there, they simply began their closing procedures around us and made us feel so welcome.I could not recommend this place highly enough for the exceptional service we received!Thank you team at McCashins!

It's my first review on google, because here was horrible. Here's worst of worst in NZ.The beer and cider was great.But all the food tasted like frozen food.Fried squid was too much salty, chicken wings just no taste and only crispy.Pizza....it's just like a pizza flavor bread.And the staff response was very unkindly.I ordered Dark beer for takeaway by the plastic bottle and she gave me IPA with grumpy.If you want to waste money and you want to ruin your tongue, go for it.
