The only fuel station at Murchison. Offers 91,95 and Diesel. Comes with a mini supermarket which offers a as usual. Just by the main road. Spacious enough even for a truck (truck stop). Had got a tyre refill but was out of function on the day I visited (17/Apr/2022).

Pay at pump unlike every other gas station I've been too in NZ. And their customers standing outside mostly looking annoyed at how does slow it all is. Convenient for staff slow for customers.To be fair the diesel price was reasonable.

Just went in to top up with petrol and a toilet stop and grabbed a couple of things to eat and the lady at the counter was really nice, She came across as a very genuine person and had a beautiful smile, It's nice little polite things like that makes your trip a lot nicer and of course as soon as I got back into the car the first thing I said to the misses was Well that was nice the lady at the counter was really nice and had a lovely smile and of course the misses said oh that's nice so of course that makes the next stage of the trip more enjoyable"

No pay at pump so when it's closed after kiwi bedtime (9pm) you're out of luck. The odd occasion it is open you have to pay inside first... just like being back in Jo'berg. Despite this the staff do always seem very chipper

Been here plenty of times over the years. Yes it's pay at the pump. That's convenient for me. Fuel up and leave without having to go in... But if you need the loo or a pie and a drink your also in luck.
