Gujarati restaurant

I've visited this restaurant many times and have previously given them a 5-star review however their decline has been consistent and progressive.The owner was utterly indifferent after giving him polite feedback (that he had asked for) that the $15 chaat was disgustingly stale.His staff member had told us that the tea was including with the lunch offer, he flatly denied this and charged us for the tea.The other food that we ordered was alright - average at best.The owner's manner is a deal breaker. I work hard for my money and will definitely be spending it elsewhere in future.

It's been almost an hour, few of us finished food, 2 friends still waiting for theirs order.I can count the staff, total 3 (or could be another one person). I feel sorry for the staff as they're working so hard under pressure.Food was delicious, wait time and table etiquette are missing.

We have ordered jalebi over call. One of the lady representative said if you want fresh jalebi allow us half an hour to prepare. We went after 30 min and they gave us the jalebi which was prepared like 4-5 hrs before, said it was just came out of the bunch.We have noticed that after coming home that it is not fresh. We have specially came through the city just to enjoy the fresh jalebi’s. I wouldn’t recommend anyone this place.

We are regulars here at Roops. Love their snacks, jalebi and chat. Takeaway is very nice, there is room for improvement with dine in.

Based on the reviews, we went for North Indian and Gujarati food. It was delicious. I hope they can maintain their standard and focus on their strengths. We tried their pani poori, choley bhatorey, parathas and bajra roti with baingan bharta. Every item was top notch. Will certainly be visiting again.

A tiny homemade Indian (especially Gujrati) food shop. It’s a combination of best quality and great service.Really recommended if you’re in love with home made food.

Service was super slow. Me and my partner ordered food together but after 15 minutes I got mine and then We waited another 20 minutes for my partner’s food. It’s not great experience when you dine in together and can’t eat together. Food was okay and reasonable price can’t complain. Friendly staff and service.

We popped in on a Friday night (8th July 2022) and had a fantastic meal here. None of us are vegetarian, but honestly the food was so good that we all agreed that we did not miss having meat as an option. I will definitely be back with my family as they all need to experience the taste sensation that is Steam!

Great tasty, Indian snacks 100% vegetarian, reasonably priced . Advise to call ahead if you are going in for a particular item as they sell out fast.
