I unreservedly endorse using NZ Movers Wellington branch for helping me successfully move my house lot to Auckland.I moved from Wellington to Auckland late last year. The moving company I had lined up to do our move, which was a big job, proved to be unreliable, despite many good reviews on google. The operator would only sporadically answer calls, for eg.Anyway in quite a desperate state I rang around some Wellington movers to try and get a booking for 10 days time. Many were fully booked, however I struck Sharon of NZ Movers company, who was extremely helpful and assisted me in getting a booking at a busy time of the year. I am so grateful for the extra distance Sharon took to fit our job in.Everything has arrived safe and well. I would use NZ Movers again.Just some advice:There are a lot of fly by nighter moving companies on the internet. If you have a big job get NZ Movers in. They do not cut corners. It’s a very complex thing moving house with lots of moving parts. In my experience, everything has to be communicated and documented properly and with these smaller companies corners are cut.Not so with NZ Movers. They do a great job and take pride in their work. The office ladies, including Sharon & Helen are a great asset to their company.

From ouur initial contact with Helen Bates, through quoting, quote acceptance, move and now storage, New Zealand Movers have shown the professionalism and care Kris and I had hoped for when we planned our move.We cannot commend Helen and the boys enough for making what, at our age was a daunting task an absolute breeze.We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending New Zealand Movers as you preferred moving team.Cheers guy's. We had the most incredible experience with NZ Movers. We needed to relocated from Auckland to Wellington 2 weeks before our wedding and NZ Movers made the whole process completely stress free! Kendra from NZ Movers had exceptional customer service and the moving guys carefully packed all our gear. Everything arrived in Wellington in the same condition as it left Auckland. Would not choose any other moving company! Thanks again NZ Movers!

Generally ok but we've had a few issues with breakage and some inadequate packing of art work and paintings. I'd suggest close involvement at packing time to ensure things are done well. Unsure about recommending them. I haven't used other companies so maybe this is as good as it gets. Looks like a few things are missing so I'll see how they deal with that and I'll adjust my rating accordingly. Thanks for reading.

Did a move from Chch to Wgtn and had a small number of boxes to get trucked up. Chloe from the Chch office was a star, very helpful, quick with responses and when the delivery address changed due to my flat falling through it was no issue.This company was a lot cheaper than other companies and did not come at the expense of customer service or delivery.Highly recommended

We would not recommend using NZ Movers on an hourly rate system. Or without a written quote. We recently used them and they were very inefficient and slow. At one point, shortly after they arrived they were on break. Came inside and removed one box each, then had another break. So many items were broken and very little care with moving things was taken. I expected that at $450 per hour, there would be an element of care and efficiency but it seems it is not. Admin very helpful until you question them. Find another company

I used NZ Movers for the first time this week for an across country move. I can not recommend them highly enough. Their contact staff were informative and supportive during the quote and payment process and during the uplift and delivery the staff on the ground were very efficient and so polite. 10 stars!

Debbie and the Wellington office were able to quote and book my move to Auckland in one day. They communicated throughout, offered the most competitive price, and the crew careful and thorough when packing my items. Contents arrived soon in Auckland totally undamaged. Wellington branch has my full endorsement and will use NZ Movers again in future.

Excellent communication and seemingly great at what they do up to the point before we paid the moving cost off. After the payment, everything from returning phone call or email was delayed, not keen on sorting out our car shipping details anymore, the actual moving day was worst the movers had zero communication and bad attitude. The drove the moving company van, uses packaging from all companies. Would not recommend.

Sharon has been great help sorting out the admin side of this so far. Tom came by today and was polite, professional and extremely thorough. We feel really good about our stuff going into storage and being safe and sound. Price was a little more than other companies, but totally worth it. Thanks guys!
