Frames Galore

I am a couple of months late with my review. Great work and service. I had a cheap, street vendor painting, our family bought in Panama 50 years ago. It holds great sentimental value for us. Carl was honest about it's age and fragile condition but did a great job suggesting the right frame and glass and putting it all together. Carl knows the biz and seems to love what he does. That's a great combination.

Carl is very experienced and knowledgeable about framing. Very good quality and selection of frames and the quality of work is very high.

Great service. Vey helpful and knows his stuff. I can recommend them fully. We are going back there in a few weeks time for more work

My print was framed in black, even after I clearly stated that I wanted a white frame.When I took it back I was told I have a photographic memory so I don't make mistakes" .When I collected for the second time I pointed out a very obvious approx. 4cm smudge inside the glass to which I was told "I only changed the frame

Brilliant assistance and service provided. Never thought my Rajasthani picture frame would stand out so much with the work that Carl did on it and he even repaired my wooded box key holder as an extra.

I gave a family photograph to Carl to fix after it fell off the wall courtesy of command fixing system (useless by the way). They made a beautiful job of fixing the damage to the frame. Super happy. Thanks guys

Upset - took oil on canvas to be quoted for a clean as it was moldy on the back - I ended up chasing him for the quote as it had been 3 weeks waiting - when he told me the quote was $350 - without removal from frame stretcher, I thought that was too dear, especially not fully doing the job - and I went to pick it up - the picture was not there - it was at the restorers - and on the following weekend was told that the work had already been completed and I was then guilted into paying $150. He showed me the restorer's bill which was $200. Not only am I upset that I paid money towards something that I absolutely said I did not want done - I am upset that there was a $150 mark up in the quote from the restorer - bit rich - and that when I have inspected the picture it is actually not even clean - really dusty all around the frame with big fur bunnies at the base and even a missed cobweb. Attitude and customer service are just not a thing for you
