Great staff, comfortable rooms. Our nana loved it here. She was always saying the staff are wonderful. It was such a relief to know she felt at home.

BAD MANAGEMENT.Thought about writing this as i had reached 3rd party for advice and they also agreed it was misleading and VERY BAD MANAGEMENT!Got a casual contract, completed my online training, was waiting for my orientation then to get my roster, but firstly orientation done, 1 month passed and DID NOT HEAR 1 WORD FROM MY MANAGER DESPITE contacting the admin, NOBODY WHATSOVER KEPT CONTACT TO LET ME KNOW what was going on I HAD TO CHASE PEOPLE ALL BY MYSELF JUST TO GET A HEADS UP FYI (FOR MY TRAINING & ORIENTATION) i was not worried about work.1 month and absolutely no word from my so called manager.YES SHE WAS SICK TWICE BUT GROW UP you have an email and mobile to text staff or pick up the phone and DO YOUR JOB!NOT BE LAZY ABOUT IT.VERY MISLEADINGGLAD I decided not to stay judging from the management skills SO BAD

The staff at Aria Albany are friendly and help full, and have been great with the care they have given to my aunty, they always phone me to keep me updated with her care or any changes in her health. The staff talk to my aunt even though she can not reply.The rooms are always clean and tidy I wish we had know about Aria sooner as the previous two rest homes my aunty had been in were terrible. I have also recommend Aria to others.Keep up the good work.

It is all very well to find a place for your loved one to live , that in itself is an achievement . To find a place where the people who look after them , love and respect them as much as you could ever dream of is another . Dementia is a challenge and my beautiful Mum is a handful . The staff at Aria give me and my sisters total confidence and a peace that she will live out her life in the best way possible and in a way that we could never provide ourselves . It's an ongoing experience and we are amazed at the patience and care provided every day . We are grateful .

My dad was only in the hospital section for a short time as he had cancer. The nursing staff were absolutely amazing. So caring and genuine. They helped my dad in his last month of life. They filled us in on everything that was happening. They cared so much and it showed in their work. Although Aria Gardens is slightly older and not a modern facility the care goes above and beyond in looking after their patients.

Next level BAD ! don't waste your time with this place.Had issues with mother in law and when trying to find out what's going on all i got was lies ! . the staff say one thing and the manager says another but yet during the chat with the manager she changes the story 3 times. Then when you put a complaint it the story coming back from them is different again so she's told more lies then i read the ambulance report and there are more lies told to them. when does the lies stop ?people are fine when things don't work out or needs can not be achieved because with all the information you can sort options but don't lie ! and make stuff up because that jsut causes more stress and slows things down. Even worse when your not very good at lying .Such a shame the place looks nice and floor staff seem good kelly is lovely to deal with but if you don't fit the mold you will get the boot with no notice and no info and no meeting just a phone call saying sorry . But when you call them out on that they will lie and say we never said that we said we will review .... more lies .so save your self the time and avoid. Its a shame there's a shortage of rooms all over Auckland so places like this will always be full due to no options but if you can go some place else i would. Or if you enjoy lies and bull sht then this is the place for you .

Terrible experience. Sent my 80 year old mother here for care after breaking her leg and the care is terrible, the staff do their best but they are way understaffed. She waits up to an hour for her bell to be answered, and it is a health and safety nightmare. We will be taking my mother out as soon as possible and I wouldn't put my dog in these conditions. Avoid if you love your parents and want good care for them.
