Awakairangi Park
Excellent place to take your kids. The park/ walkway is huge and great fun to use in conjunction with a Lime Scooter. Works out to about. 30cents per minute. Great fun as long as the rider is careful, sensible and uses common sense.

Lovely green space surrounded by the Hutt River. One of the parks that make Totara Park such a great place to visit and live. Playgrounds and walkways abound. Great place for all the family and exercising your dogs.

Quite picturesque at sunset, and nice for a quiet walk despite it being next to the river near a popular swimming hole.

Great large open space right next to the Hutt river but also accessable from highway 2 at Totara Park. Lots of events and plenty of room to visit any time. Perfect for sporting events. Walking distance to the Totara Park shops

Amazing place. Peaceful and beautiful. Would like to see the cycle/walk bridge cleaned and repaired in areas. Otherwise, a lovely place!
