after having an electrical fault with our motorhome, we showed up ( 09/03/2023) and shortly after Lochie found the problem, but it wasn't clear what it meant. Lochie rang our Fiat dealer in Hamilton, which was a waste of time, not much help from them.Then he rang the Fiat dealer in Nelson, explained the showing codes and voila, part needed they have in stock or get it in, no worries. Our thanks to Lochie of Franz Alpine Mechanical, you showed what customer service is, many big companies can take an example of that. Cheers Renee

Really helped us out when we were in a pinch with getting our van started a few weeks ago. We had taken it to multiple mechanics before for the same issue but they could never find the problem. He was very thorough, explained everything, and gave us great advice in case we had any issues down the the road. Super reasonable price and seemed like an all around really cool guy! Great service and great help . On our trip around the south island our rear roof rack brackets broke (these were holding our roof top tent on) . They got stright to work in repairing these and got us back on the road in great time .Thanks very much for the help

We arrived at Franz Josef to discover a disaster in our caravan (which is our full time home), wires shorted and melted and no power at all, lucky to have not had a massive fire. Lochie and Jono to the rescue! These guys made a very stressful situation into an enjoyable experience, fixing it all up for us whilst giving loads of handy hints about this beautiful west coast. Very professional and great service. Totally recommend this company.
