Had this earlier today all the sushi were cold and hard so was the the donburi. Didn’t end up eating so wasted money.

Kisso offers reasonably-priced sushis, good portion for the price, and friendly owner and staff. Not to mention the variety. I'd definitely recommend.

It's ok. The Teriyaki Chicken Donburi in a plastic bowl for around $8.50 is good value for money, for the sized portion you get. However, I find the sushi pieces too small or smaller than other places and slightly over-priced for what you're buying. 2 stars.

My son's go too place for Sushi while studying at Waikato University. Try their chicken Sushi burgers - delicious.. and other meals available in store.

Unfortunately very cold hard rice in the sushi. So disappointed since we drove here because Cambridge was closed. Definitely not the same quality as there.

Best to go from 10am to 13:00pm latest as generally the most fresh sushi. Favorite are the don bowls and triangle sushi sandwich.

Glad to find this place as we'll come back here for sure, nice fresh pieces at only 1.30 each with nice range to choose, my mother who loves sushi but can't see, and i think has a heightened sense of taste, relies on others to buy it for her is voicing her admiration at the 5 pieces each i got for us, and that it only cost $13.I
