Copthorne Hotel Greymouth
I travel to the West Coast regularly for work, and have stayed in most of the 3-star hotel options. I stayed last week and I was truly impressed with the Copthorne, the front-desk service was great, the food was exceptional (better than most dinner offerings in Greymouth, I've tried them all!), and the service at breakfast was at or above what would be expected at a good cafe and the beds were comfortable and generous with very nice clean bathrooms. Definitely my new pick!

We had an excellent stay - received a very warm welcome on arrival and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent location (less than 5 minute walk from station). We did not dine there in the evening but we had breakfast each day and good menu choices and very attentive breakfast staff. There is no air conditioning (but this did not worry us at we just opened the window/door to balcony). Very spacious clean room. Would stay again.

Stayed for one night with a package deal that included breakfast. From the outside it does look tired but it appears the older part of the hotel is closed. Service here is amazing. Staff are more than happy to help with any request. Rooms have been renovated and are a good size for a family. There were four of us including our teenage son and plenty of room for all. The free breakfast was also great. Really surprised at the portions and quantity of food. Highly recommend to stay here if it's just for the night between Tranzalpine trips.

Copthorne Greymouth were fantastic to deal with right from the beginning.We had a large group travelling on road bikes and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms and Breakfast were on point.We will definitely be booking to stay again.

The hotel is well located in the centre of town within easy walking of the train station. The beds were comfy and the room immaculately clean. The service received from Kelly on reception was exceptional. She is a great ambassador for your business and for NZ.

We had a fantastic stay over the weekend. Kelly on reception was absolutely wonderful. We found the rooms to be well equipped with very comfortable beds. All the staff we met were happy, helpful and very obliging. Our cocktails in the evening followed by our breakfast were absolutely delicious.We look forward to staying here again.

Amazing foods!Wonderful roasted chicken, and salmon!Even breakfasts are all good.This is my third time visit to NZ. This foods served here are the best that I have ever had in NZ.Much much better than any restaurants at Auckland, even five stars restaurants.
