Booked for a group of 15 people for Mothers day brunch. First time here. Busy little cafe. Food was fast and delicious. The waffles were my favourite. Service was fast and polite. Would definitely stop in again.

We like the place, it's clean and they follow the rules.The BBQ pork ribs is good, but the sauce, nope. It taste like the BBQ sauce from the counter we bought.Service, really slow. Lot of people are waiting for their orders. And not happy at all.Staff, friendly. We appreciate it.

Good place, food was exceptionally average and came out cold. Waited 40 mins for two kids meal items. Felt bad for the two workers though it wasn't very busy when we ordered.

Really disappointed and unhappy with our experience this evening. Booked in for 5pm and showed up on time (4 adults and a 1 year old). Only one other family there. Waited 30 mins and no one came to get our orders. Had to get up and ask. Then we hear that the food we were all going to order (Ribs for three of us and wedges for one) were out of stock (okay, disappointing but not the end of the world). Never once did anyone check in on us. Waited an hour and 45 mins for our food (2 burgers, a salad, and a chicken dish). At this point we are definitely going to be late for bed time and have a very tired baby and hungry family. Other tables who came in after us were getting served before us. But other tables who came shortly after us were waiting just as long and very frustrated too (even mentioned something to us as we were all rushing out of the parking lot). The only reason they even get 2 stars is because the food was delicious. Service was horrible. No apologies for the delays, no compensation, nothing. Even bigger bummer that it’s one of the only sit down restaurants in Paeroa so will probably go to the other one from now on. Not worth the stress, frustration, money, or time to eat here again.

I had the kids pancakes for $10 it is the perfect size meal for adults who are small eaters. Was delicious aswell! There is a cute miniature version of the L&P bottle outside of the cafe also. Would love to visit again.

Cool cafe. Great set out for customers and good location in town and plenty of parking.The menu is good and reasonably priced too.Cool ideas to jog people's interests to visit and a really cool thing we spotted was a projector mounted on the ceiling and a pull down screen. I'm guessing it's for the rugby and other sporting events to be screened.The staff were happy and very friendly and food was tastyThanks team

We had a lovely meal, friendly staff.One thing was it's very hard to see if your open from the outside at night.Could use better lighting outside.

Couple of points about this cafe:1. The L&P milkshake was okay, nothing amazing, it was definitely overpriced, and the coffee we received was burnt and tasted horrible.2. Be prepared to receive terrible service. The older lady who served us was very short and obviously had no customer service training, or just couldnt be bothered with trying. Could have got her on a bad day but her service was pitiful, she couldn't even muster up a smile.3. Wait-times: The wait time for one L&P Milkshake should not be over 15 minutes, ESPECIALLY at a Cafe priding itself on the L&P brand.I usually don't do bad reviews but look at the good reviews it clearly doesn't reflect in the cafe/service. Avoid if you are travelling through and want to stop for a quick" milkshake.Very easy to fix issues
