If you buy a used car from them get it checked by a reputable third party first, don't rely on their pre-sale service. Make sure they sort any problems properly, don't let them put you off. Buy spares elsewhere, their charges are astronomical. Also, check if the full tool kit is included. I have just discovered that I would not have been able to change a wheel if I had a puncture. That's a safety issue with a 4x4!

Terrible customer service. We brought a new Volvo XC90. Our first Volvo we owned. Less than a week later we had issues with the air suspension and the car had to be towed back to the dealer.2 weeks later we had water leaking inside behind the rear vision mirror In a car wash. Now the car filled up with water when we park it in the rain. Armstrongs and Volvo refuse to do anything about it even though it's being doing it since new. Lesson learnt. DO NOT BY VOLVO, DO NOT BUY FROM ARMSTRONGS. We learnt from our first and last.

I had 'permission' to buy today(actually, any day) but couldn't persuade myself I could fully use a great car like the new Range Rover Defender. My best mate, my dog, died and a new car might have fitted, said my wife. But salesman nice fellow, held back sensibly initially before asking about my interest. Great cars, good knowledge, likeable man. I already have 2 cars, a 4x4 and a camper but this place has a reason for more, maybe.

Needed a car for work and am so Glad I came to Armstrongs. Really grateful to Kellie. When I was having trouble with my application she called me to help smooth it out and then helped with EVERY other part of the process (whether she needed to or not) and finding the best options for you. Just a really friendly team. Their customer care before and during the process is top notch but it doesn’t stop there they continue to care and check on their customers even after you’ve made the purchase. Don’t go near these con artists, they rip customers off, pretending they don’t know how warranties on cars work, they don’t help when things go wrong. Simply google this business and you’ll see even the local NZ new agencies taking the mick out of these folks.

The customer service is so poor. You pay premium cost for the service and repair. So, my understanding is that you're not wrong to expect premium care. When I gave the car for a battery change, they damaged multiple clips that hold the battery cover and, when reported, asked me if I had pictures of it before damage. Like, who takes pictures of every inch of your car before taking it to a service station. But that is Armstrong's expectation from their customers.Please thoroughly check your cars for damages before and after services.
