We found Mike Bronswijk from Pzazz Building Waikato to be a worthwhile choice to pull out our shower unit and replace it with a new one. We have never had a builder like Mike come in and ask, and listen, to what we thought, we might need. Mike suggested a shower unit and installed it. The workmanship was first rate. We would use Mike again without even thinking, and we would suggest to our friends to use, Mike.

We used Rob for our recent home renovation and he was outstanding. He managed all aspects of the reno for us which was a relief as we had never done anything like that previously and communicated clearly and effectively with us throughout the process. At all times we knew exactly what was happening and when.I can not recommend Rob and his team enough if you are considering any type of construction work.

Benchmark helped us in buying a plot, and designing and building our house in Halswell. We selected Benchmark as a friend of ours who built their house with Benchmark ten years ago recommended them to us. We very much like our friend's house.We really enjoyed working with Benchmark from start to finish. Richard, who is the owner of Benchmark, is a great guy to work with. He is responsive; I don’t remember if there was a time when he did not get back to us if we had any query. I always have a fear of investing money with a builder on building a new house as I heard so many horror stories. However, after having talked to Richard, I felt safe signing a house construction contract with them.Our building construction started in the middle of January and finished by the end of June. We had a great project manager (an employee of Benchmark) who was very accommodative and was helpful to provide advice beyond the agreed construction contract. The project met all the milestones and completed exactly as per the original plan. Good weather during the last summer and autumn certainly helped to complete the project on time.Over the period of building the house we interacted with most of Benchmark's small close-knit employees and their subcontractors. Every one of them were very pleasant to work with.I believe many of the subcontractors have been working with Benchmark for over fifteen years. We found their work standards and the material they provided are of high quality. Contacting some of the subcontractors was at times frustrating. I suspect this may be due to work pressures.We wished Benchmark helped us with landscaping work which they did not. We needed to do this on our own, which was a bit of inconvenience to us.By the end of our house construction my wife and I became fans of Benchmark as an organisation: (1) Benchmark is led by a good person, (2) employees say they love to work with Benchmark, (3) subcontractors are proud that they are working for Benchmark for many many years and (4) one non-Benchmark tradesperson said to us that in the long run he wants to be a Benchmark subcontractor.For these reasons I have no hesitation in recommending Benchmark to anyone who is considering building a house.

Basically rip off merchants. Negative score is more befitting.

Amon, Tracey and their team at Amon Perry builders are fantastic. They have completed numerous jobs for us at our home and on our rental property, always to the highest standard, Amon has an amazing eye for detail and absolutely knows everything there is to know in the building industry. We would highly recommend Amon 100% to anyone looking for a top builder, easy to work with, friendly and all round great person. Sophia and Mike helped me through quite a significant renovation and were a pleasure to work with. They are trustworthy, great communicators and I felt they genuinely cared about getting things right from beginning to end. I had many questions along the way, and they always took the time to patiently answer them! I would not hesitate to use them again and thoroughly recommend them to anyone else who is looking for high-quality project management of their renovation.

Artbuild made wardrobes for 3 bedrooms in our old 1910 NZ villa - they were made to fit the style of the house and look great. They were very responsive, communicated well and did a fantastic tidy job. We would absolutely choose them again.
