Art school

This is my second year of art tuition with Jacqui. She creates a great learning environment and working atmosphere and shares her knowledge and expertise with enthusiasm. She is an inspirational and supportive teacher who has the ability to explain and guide her pupils as they progress.I have thoroughly enjoyed Jacqui's classes and have benefited hugely from her knowledge and teaching.Gavin Pepper.

Great shop, with lots packed into quite a small space. The owner was lovely and helped me pick out a gift for my brother - I would highly recommend!!

Just completed the 7 week online graphic design course with Yoobee.Whilst the content covered off was comprehensive, no textbook or reference guide was provided for the content, meaning that if you need to check how to do something, you need to wade through 3 hours of video lesson content to find it. Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator are technical and finicky, if you do something in the wrong order it doesn't work, and each program does things slightly differently. Having a reference guide where you can quickly see the steps and work out where you went wrong is in my opinion essential. Instead, the lessons consist of the tutor showing you something on screen once, asking you to repeat the steps whilst they're there and expecting you will always remember how to do that after the course ends (without any notes short of what you manage to scribble down in between following instructions). Whilst doing the course, I learned that Adobe have Classroom" books for each of their programs

Amazing ideas and art techniques! Morag gave me really perfect ideas what I can create with kids in my job. For example I'd never heard about 'gel technique' before. She is very patient and friendly teacher. I strongly recommend Morag's lessons/workshops to everyone who want to improve their techniques and creative thinking! :)

I have always wanted to paint in oils and joining Tahan Art Classes has made that dream real. I began by drawing and soon moved into the painting. Everytime I think I've ruined my painting or become struck, Mehrdad comes along and changes everything. Im really enjoying the classes and love sharing my Wednesdays with other artists. Caroline.
