Stopped for a coffee etc .They have Whitebait fritters .don't drive past just stop go in clean and bright .

Only stopped into the resturant for dinner but worth the trip. Delicious high quality pub food with decent portions and great atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're in the area or going through

Came down here to do some whitebaiting. The hotel is really nice, stayed in one of the cabins and found it really pleasant!The bar itself was awesome! Amazing food and drink which came quick. Combined with the friendly staff made it an amazing experience!Would definitely come again.

Little Wanganui Hotel
A group of 12 friends stayed here for a weekend of fun and adventures and it was the perfect location to explore the top of the West Coast. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The cabins were warm and comfortable and the food was delicious.

Very pleasant and smart when you walk in. Nice looking pub. We had a drink and hot chips. Bit disappointed to see there little toddler sitting on the bar counter and a work bench in the kitchen. Barman needed to be a bit more friendly.

The new owners are really friendly and helpful. They made us feel like old friends and really welcomed us. Accommodation is good, very clean and comfortable. Food is good and reasonably priced. Also when Mother had a fall, something she does reasonably often now, they gave us a first aid kit even though all we needed at that time was a bandage. Thank you. Greatly appreciatedUpdate 7 July 2023. Still a great place. We have stayed for first week of school holidays. Grand children are 5 7 11 and 14. All are enjoying themselves. Also great internet, which is always an advantage

Little Wanganui Hotel
Booked a cabin last minute, staff very kind and accommodating and the cabin was clean and comfortable.Didn't have the pleasure of eating there, but the food looked amazing.A short walk to the magnificent beach to watch the sunset. Highly recommend.
