GG's Cafe
Small menu executed brilliantly. The hollandaise sauce on the croissant bene and the sweet chilli relish on the breakfast muffin took both to a whole different level. They looked to have some delicious vegan options on the menu and in the cabinet too. Great decor. Great service. We’ll be back.

Hidden down Lovegrove Lane almost at the end, this cafe is small but has a very cool vibe. There’s a real retro eclectic feel to the tables, chairs and decor. The cabinet food usually has a sandwich like Reuben’s, scones or muffins and cakes or slices. They also have a menu which usually includes bagels with different toppings as well as some other items that change occasionally. They do Rocket coffee too.

Wat a nice little vintage cafe! Located down an alley, so no traffic noise when sitting outside. Place is super vegan (though they still charge extra for plant milks...) and kid friendly, with a nice little play room in the back. Haven't tried their food, but the coffee was great!

This is a hidden gem. I had a cheese scone, which was tasty with a crunchy but not burnt bottom. The person I was with had a chocolate lamington, with cream and jam in its centre. The coffee was good enough that my friend had a second one. The food is cabinet food and a menu, which is bagels etc. rather than meals. I was tempted by the haloumi bap and by the decadent looking donut.The atmosphere is a funky retro vibe. It successfully rides the fine line between eclectic but cohesive, and a bunch of old tat :) For the vinyl enthusiasts there are a few boxes of records for sale. Small details (a tiny milk bottle for the cream that came with my coffee, the array of funky teaspoons) are done very well.The service was good. Pleasant and reasonably quick. You order and pay at the counter. Food and coffee are then brought to you.Parking is at a bit of a premium and the cafe is small and gets full quickly. But if the worst things that I can say about it is that you may have to walk three minutes to get there and that it attracts enough customers to fill it then that is a pretty ringing endorsement.

We love GGS we go here every Saturday, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the kids love the playroom. Coffee and food is awesome too.

This place knows about coffee :) the flat white was perfect as was the long black.Perfectly extracted - normally so hard to find!The food was also delicious and service was super friendly. Recommended for speciality coffee and awesome breakfast in Hamilton.
