My partner and I went last night for our anniversary dinner. We were excited to try Silverspoon as it's close to home and were hoping to find a nice local spot.Having previously checked the menu online, I pushed aside the numerous spelling mistakes and hoped for the best.We were greeted warmly at the door and promptly showed to our table, water was brought to the table and we were left to peruse the menu. We ordered a bottle of wine (it was our anniversary after all), and the waitstaff had to check it was still available - not unusual although a little annoying when you've made the decision.The wine was brought to the table with glasses, and put on the table. Not even the first glass poured by the waitstaff. That's Waiting 101" right?!?We ordered the tomato bruschetta to share

Went for brunch and just couldn't fault it.The crumpets were great, and the orange preserve had I think a shot of Cointreau in it to give it a zing.The pasta was perfect, creamy but not heavily so for a brunch.The garlic bread was equally good, lite and garlicky but there's no photos because I polished it off too quickly.The service is professional and welcoming.We've already decided this is our next dinner reservation - looking forward to it.

The Silverspoon Restaurant is a great choice for those who are looking for delicious food. While the wait times may be long, the food is definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or a night out with friends, just be sure to plan ahead and be patient while you wait for your meal.

Excellent. Everyone enjoyed their mains selection and the Fruit Loaf was just superb. You'll have to try it.

Good coffee. Food okay. Carrot cake great! Met a friend and was unhussled to leave even though it was very busy. Plenty of parking. Would go again.
