Daves' Diving Kaikoura
Did a double boat dive with Dave Diving at the beginning of April and had a great time on the water. The visibility wasn't the greatest given some heavy rain the days before, but still made for a great day on the water with Zach and Dave.We still got to see some nudibranchs, crayfish, and lots of dolphins and seals on the way out. We even brought up a huge Urchin and tasted it fresh out of the water, which was super unique!This was a great way to experience Kaikoura and I highly recommend giving them a visit and heading out on one of their boat dives.

Daves' Diving Kaikoura
We had an amazing diving experience at Dave’s! As novice divers, our guide Zach prepped us well and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient. We did a shore dive and saw octopus, crayfish, red cod, poua and a myriad of other fish. I was fascinated by the giant kelp trees. We had to rebook our dive due to weather and the dive shop made that a stress and hassle free process. We never felt rushed or stressed. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely dive through them again if we ever find ourselves in Kaikoura again!

Amazing boat dives around Barney’s Rock in the marine reserve! Great team, friendly, they know what they’re doing. Sean Walsh is a fantastic guide. We had a brilliant set of four dives in April 2023. For two dives we had curious dolphins circling us. On one dive they stayed with us for 20 minutes. Spotted a rare thresher shark one dive, and lots of endemic Jason’s nudibranchs.

I had two very perfect dives with Haylee today. Super new equipment, perfect Organisation and nice dive spots - 10/10 points.We get surrounded by Dolphins at the end of the dive, quiet an amazing experience!Thanks a lot Haylee & Daves' Diving

Daves' Diving Kaikoura
Thanks to the entire staff (office, skipper, guide). I went for a double dive from the boat and rented the gear. Very professional and friendly people and very good equipment. I enjoyed the half day a lot.(Even got some good tips for the next days of my trip :) )

Daves' Diving Kaikoura
We had two boat dives today. It was an amazing team!! We had the whole time the feeling to be in the best hands, both human and of course as of diving knowledge. The crew was amazing, everyone let us feel welcome and take care of us. Our instructor Haely, was so kind and showed us not only amazing nudibranches.The information from the skipper over the wildlife and nature here was also super informative!!!We got a all-inclusive service, with nice warm drinks, towels and some sweets. The equipment was new and tip top!!We definitely recommend to go there!!!Thanks a lot we will never forget this super cool dive with you.All the best for the team!

Daves' Diving Kaikoura
We did a private dive boat charter with Dave's Diving Kaikoura and the team were very professional and safety conscious. It was a stellar day and time, Zach was an exceptional skipper who went above and beyond finding the best dive spots for us to do some cray hunting. He also stopped a few times when there were marine animals to check out and shared some of his knowledge of the creatures. We did two boat dives and had a fantastic 45 minute surface interval with tea and coffee. We felt very safe and looked after. I highly recommend the team at Dave's Diving Kaikoura if you're looking for an epic day on or in the water.

Had an amazing weekend diving with Sean and Dave at Dave’s’ Diving. They are a friendly and well organised bunch so you are guaranteed to have a safe and fun experience diving with them. Highly recommend!

Daves' Diving Kaikoura
I had such a great time! Haylee was a great guide, super friendly and supportative. Also Zach was a super Skipper who did his best to get us to some awsome divespots. We even saw dolphins :) there were Snacks and hot drinks during the dive and even after the dive back at the shop Haylee took some time to serve us snacks and hot drinks and to discuss the dive. Highly recommended!

Daves' Diving Kaikoura
Just keep communicating with them especially before you travel long distance for the dive. Lots of crayfish in the area, different kinds of fish, paua in the reserve area. I like the seaweeds in the area.
