Really had a fantastic time with Our tour guide Kelly... it's a must Do !

Having hurt my leg I wasn't able to walk as much as I'd normally do. This was a great way to get to some of the further out spots like the look off at Tapeka. Kelly was lovely.

Kelly was an amazing guide today. The trip is so interesting and worthwhile.

Russell isn't a big settlement but full of history. We decided to just catch a passenger ferry (The Happy Ferry) across and walk around but on the way across thought we'd book the Russel Mini Tour. I'd recommend this as it gives you a good idea where everything is and takes you up Flagstaff Hill and past all the main points of interest. The driver keeps up a steady stream of info not only about the early settlement and the 1st New Zealand War must about the buildings and owners. We've been to Russel a few times so knew our way around but for a first time visitor well worth it (if only to see where the main attractions are and to help decide on what you'd like to spend more time looking around).

1st time in Russell, Kelly approached us as we walked off the wharf from ferry. We HIGHLY recommend everyone that comes to Russell for the first time takes Kelly's 1 hour tour with Russell Mini Tours. Historically informative and the 360° views from Flagstaff Hill of the Bay Of Islands - breathtaking. We'll be back for sure. Brett & Kirsty.

A very fun introduction to Russell. Kelly was great. Liked going up to the highest point to get a 360 degree view.
