Really fresh battered fish of the dayMoist hand batteredalthough chips a bit dry I would have them 5 Stars. Very friendly service, not expensive, good parking and selection of fresh seafood. Clean premises.

The fish is fresh and very nicely battered and fried. The Tarakihi fish was very tasty and is a must try. We had kumara chips for the side which was great too, very crispy on the outside and nicely cooked inside (although I don't quite like sweet potato). They also have a bench in front of the store where you can have your food there.

I know how I want my fish cooked. These guys have never disappointed me and have been consistent everytime. It's always fresh to.

A friendly, nice owner operated fish and chips shop. They were friendly, attentive, accommodating and patient. The fish is moist but the batter is really crunchy. Perfectly cooked fish and chips. The place is tucked away from the road, so make sure you pay attention on when to turn as this shop is a must try. Their lunch pack also come with a sausage.

Great service. Even took my order before their midday opening time. Well cooked and plenty to eat. Fish was delicious. Had the family pack $29 Punnet of sauce was an additional $2.50. Great value for an inner city fish and chip shop.

These guys are fantastic. They have a selection of wet fish and will cook it while you wait. They produced food with love and care. They have lemon with oysters and fish available. The snapper is very nice. They have all the western usual takeaway things you would expect and a few surprises with I think Korean influences. The chicken avocado and bacon burger I tried had an absolutely yummy marinade on the chicken well balanced with a light spice. Very well presented and fresh. I ordered a spring roll expecting the normal commercial spring roll. Not to be. I was surprised to open up the wrapping to a very beautiful hand made well considered delicious spring roll. Condermint sauces were goodies too. Thank you for your effort and class it was all perfect. Highly recommended. You can go over the road to the rose gardens for a picnic or head down the road to the beach. To enjoy the sights of the harbour while you eat.
