We were hosted by CCT Co. / Cycle Surgery in January 2023. The experience was absolutely superb. From the planning of our itinerary, meeting our accommodation preferences, to our final transfer from Middlemarch to Dunedin - everything worked like clockwork. Pick-ups were always on time, bikes were of good quality, well maintained and suitable for the conditions. Everything worked out according to the plan presented in the app. Literally, all we had to do was the riding, sight seeing and snapping of the pics. This is a recommendation without any reservations!

I had a mixed experience. I booked a bag transfer but when I arrived to drop my bag off, their depot was shut despite advertising opening at 8:30am. I rang all numbers that were provided with the booking, including the urgent assistance to no avail for 1.5 hours! I left messages and sent an email but there was no response. I was stranded with my bag unable to make a start on the trail. I went to a competitor who was open to make alternative arrangements. They happened to know the owner and rang her for me to see what was going on. She came and collected my bag, unaware that I had a booking. It was an awfully stressful start to my trip. After that, the experience was good with bags turning up on time and the shuttle driver at the end of my trip was very friendly. I heard along the trail from several people that CCT have a bit of a reputation for being hard to reach.

Great service, knowledgeable and friendly staff who know the area well and will help you pick the appropriate ride for you. Bikes are really high quality and are in great shape. Perfect biking day!

I took my bike in needing new brakes right before closing time and they installed them on the spot. The mechanics I dealt with were efficient and pleasant to deal with (unfortunately did not get their names). I could not recommend them enough. Amongst the best and friendliest shops I have encountered on my New Zealand tour. Choose this place if you have mechanical issues in or around Clyde.

I had a super easy experience with CCT. I picked up my bike with paniers in Clyde and dropped it back in Middlemarch before getting their shuttle to Dunedin. The staff at both ends were so friendly! The bike rode well with a comfortable gel seat, good range of gears, smooth brakes and very large waterproof pannier bags.Big shoutout to the shuttle driver who took me to Dunedin, she was super lovely and we had a great chat on the way. Really nice way to end my trip.

A massive thank you to the team at CCT! We had the best time exploring the Rail Trail and they made everything so easy for us which was no small feat as there were 16 of us with an age range from 9 months to 67 years! It was the most amazing experience that we all can only highly recommend!

Awesome experience with a great company. Great knowledge and they took the time to ensure we were all comfortable with bikes that fitted each of us. They taught us how to use our e-bikes and we had a very enjoyable day. Even my 80 year old dad came along for the ride!!

I would have loved to do the hiring of bikes and transportation with CCT in order to do the Dunstan Lake as well as the Otago Rail Trail. After I called them for details, I have not received any quote or confirmation. Even after 3 (!) tries to book and enquire bikes and transportation through the online platform, I have never received any confirmation.I ended up hiring a bike elsewhere and only called them again 5 days later when my bike tour was already over in Middlemarch to ask for a shuttle transportation back to Clyde. That was when they finally realised that there were other enquiries of mine.I read about a lot of good experiences with CCT but perhaps it is hard to become a customer of theirs since they have enough at the moment during high-season.Still, the shuttle back to Clyde I was eventually able to book via phone call was great and the staff is nice. You need to contact them face-to-face to get what you need.
